Mithibai College Mumbai Facilities
Mithibai College provides all the essential facilities to the students so that they can have a hassle-free learning experience throughout their college years. The library has abundant of books, journals, encyclopedia, CDs, etc with wifi and digital video recording camera facilities. The medical need of the students are well-taken cares of and they are provided with medical assistance in medical emergencies. The activity room is a place to gather and exchange information whereas the auditorium is used in organising various events, activities, programmes, seminars, workshops, etc. The details of the facilities of Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science and Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai are listed below:
- Library: The library of Mithibai College is centrally air-conditioned and is called Jitendra Library. It has an enriched collection of books, journals, encyclopedia, CDs and other resource material that helps in the academic studies. The library is fully Wi-Fi enable and digital video recording camera facility is also available at the library. Online Databases can be accessed by the readers through Wi-Fi. The library shares its resources under the inter-library loan with other libraries of SVKM.
- Activity Room: An activity room is present within the college campus that is used for co-curricular and extension activities. It is a suitable place to gather and exchange information and develop creative thoughts in young minds.
- Health Services: The College caters to the medical need of its members and has a provision of a Doctor on Campus that takes care of the students in any kind of medical emergency.
- Canteen: The canteen is maintained hygienically and it provides healthy and tasty food and beverages at affordable rates and it is very spacious and hygienically maintained. Apart from this, a Cake Shop is present within the premises of Mithibai College of Arts, Chauhan Institute of Science and Amrutben Jivanlal College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai.

- Auditoriums: Mithibai College has air-conditioned auditoriums - Juhu Jagruti Hall and Mithibai Seminar Hall that are technically well-equipped with acoustics, light and sound facilities and it has a seating capacity approximately 114 students and it is used in organising various events, activities, programmes, seminars, workshops, etc.
- Laboratories: The college has spacious laboratories that are well equipped with the latest apparatus and modern as well as sophisticated equipment that are used during the practical sessions and used for research work.

- Library
The library of Mithibai College (Jitendra Library) has a copious collection of books, encyclopedia, journals, CDs and other resource material. It is centrally air-conditioned and supported with modern technology like Wi-Fi and digital video recording cameras. Library users can access Online Databases through Wi-Fi. The library shares its resources under inter-library loan with other libraries of SVKM. Online Catalogue of books and the non-book material is available through the Union Web OPAC. At the Reprography center, the students can photocopy and print papers at concessional rates. A grand Library is the backbone of every institution of higher education. The College Library has been renovated to a state of the art, fully air-conditioned avatar having E-Library Facility. The Library holds more than 60,000 books on different fields of learning. These also include journals, periodicals, encyclopedias, handbooks and books on general knowledge. The library premises are spacious and most suitable for all the students as well as erudite scholars seeking knowledge.
- Sports
Mithibai College has produced a galaxy of International and National level Sportspersons in the last 40 years. Some of our students have won Arjuna and Shiv Chhatrapati Awards. Some of the prominent names to be mentioned are Pravin Amre – Cricket, Ami Ghia – Badminton, Siddhanth Thingalaya – Athletics, Deepali Anvekar – Squash, Dwija Asher – Gymnastics, Wasim Jaffer, and Amol Muzumdar – Cricket, Brinston Miranda and Ajit Naik – Athletics. Our College participates in nearly 28 sports events at the Inter Collegiate University of Mumbai Tournaments for Men and Women. Nearly 2000 students participate in the selection tract in various sports conducted by Gymkhana in order to select the best to represent our College at the Inter Collegiate District State and National Level Tournaments.
- I.T Infrastructure
Internet, computer center and other IT related facility available on the college campus.
- Cafeteria
The canteen is very spacious and offers hygienic food at affordable rates. Besides this there is also a Cake Shop.
- Auditorium
Juhu Jagruti Hall and Mithibai Seminar Hall are excellent centrally air-conditioned halls, technically well-equipped with state of the art acoustics, light and sound facilities. Its seating capacity is 114 approximately.

The college has a good networking for the alumni association.

College Infrastructure
Basic necessities are provided. We have smart boards in almost every class but not all. Washrooms are well maintained at times. Library has a good selection of books and a very wide range we also have an E library to access those books but we haven't gotten our IDs to do so.
Nice space but wouldnt recommend.

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is Excellent. Every other floor has a canteen because of various colleges being in the same building and the food is very budget friendly and hygienic. The connectivity within and around the building for signal is poor due to net blockers though.

Infrastructure wise and everything college is very good. Alsoo there are lot of facilities and different labs and all for students. The food and canteen facilities are so good that it help students specially outstation students to have proper meals in the college.
i have 6 subjects in class 12 and i have entered my best 4 marks in the form of mithibai college mumbai will it be valid ?

No as 12th class marks depend on your top 5 marks and not on 6 marks. You have to give any upcoming examination or application form the total marks of the top 5 subjects. And it will valid genuinely.
Mumbai University is a very good university and offers a variety of courses.

Hope you are doing well. The cut offs start at around 91%. Previous years First Year Junior College Commerce cut offs ended as low as 80.10 % in Mithibai College, Mumbai. So you do have a chance of getting into Mithibai Junior College, Mumbai.

The distance of the college that you are going to choose is completely based on your convenience.
1. If you can't move to a place near the college and are forced to spend hours travelling for college, then your quality of work might decrease as there is a lot of travelling involved.
In that case it is better to choose a nearby college and put in the extra effort to improve yourself.
2. if you have the opportunity of moving to a place near the college, then please do. Moving out of your comfort zone will give you a nice experience and it is always beneficial to have a degree from a reputed college.
