About Moti Lal Nehru Medical College, Allahabad
Motilal Nehru Medical College Allahabad was established on 5th May, 1961 by former President of India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. The college was earlier affiliated to University of Allahabad, but now is affiliated to King George's Medical University (earlier known as Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University). The college offers admission to MBBS programmes with an intake of 200 students on the basis of NEET scores. The college also has other hospitals affiliated to it such as the Kamala Nehru Memorial Hospital, Sarojini Naidu Children's Hospital and the Manohar Das Eye Hospital. All the courses of MLNMC Allahabad are approved by the Medical Council of India (MCI). The college also offers postgraduate and doctoral programmes based on the scores of NEET.

ANM stands for Auxiliary Nursing is a job oriented course. It is related to the field of nursing and 12th standard passed students may enter the field of nursing after choosing this course. This course is a 2 years long Diploma program which ranges from 1 to 3 academic years depending upon different colleges.
- Main aim - To train students and make them capable of taking up nursing practice in rural areas .ANM Diploma holders may also work in an urban setup.
Duration
The course is 2 years long. 6 months are dedicated towards an internship in 2nd academic year.
