Before applying the candidates should meet the National AIDS Research Institute eligibility criteria of the desired course. The total number of NARI courses available is 12. The courses are offered in different streams such as Sciences and Medicine and Allied Sciences. The NARI Pune courses are available in full-time mode only. M.Sc Microbiology and PPPR 

The candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc or Equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university 

M.Sc Biochemistry and PPPR

The candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree of 3 years duration (B.Sc or Equivalent) under 10+2+3 pattern from any recognized university 

Ph.D Biomedical Science 


Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent ‘B’ grade in the UGC 7-point scale completing the M.Phil Degree, 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

Ph.D Biotechnology 

Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent ‘B’ grade in the UGC 7-point scale completing the M.Phil Degree, 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

Ph.D Health and Biomedical Sciences 

Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent ‘B’ grade in the UGC 7-point scale completing the M.Phil Degree, 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

Ph.D Microbiology 

Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent ‘B’ grade in the UGC 7-point scale completing the M.Phil Degree, 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

Ph.D Anthropology

Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent ‘B’ grade in the UGC 7-point scale completing the M.Phil Degree, 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

Ph.D Health Sciences 

Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent ‘B’ grade in the UGC 7-point scale completing the M.Phil Degree, 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to the reserved categories.

Ph.D Clinical Sciences 

Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent ‘B’ grade in the UGC 7-point scale completing the M.Phil Degree, 5% relaxation for candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
