The institute offers admission to 6 UG courses B.Des Fashion Design, B.Des Textile Design, B.Des Fashion and Lifestyle Accessories, B.Des Fashion Communication and B.F.Tech Apparel Production. NIFT Jodhpur PG courses offer a 2 years full-time Master of Fashion Management. NIFT has different written exams for its different courses. For NIFT Jodhpur B.Des. Admission 2023, candidates have to appear for Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test whereas for BF.Tech., appear for General Ability Test (GAT). Admission to courses is based on the performance of the candidates in the NIFT entrance exam.

NIFT Jodhpur Application Process

• Candidates can visit the official website and apply online at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Jodhpur.

• Click on the “Register for Seat Allocation” tab and select UG/PG.

• Fill out the application form, upload academic and personal documents and preview all the details before submitting the form. 

• The Application Fee has to be paid through an online payment gateway. 

• The non-refundable fee for applying online at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Jodhpur, is Rs. 3000/- for the Open/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) category and Rs. 1500/- for SC/ ST/ PWD category, payable through the payment gateway.

• The bank and transaction charges on the application fee will be borne by the applicant. 

• Applicants are advised to keep a printout of the application form for further reference along with proof of payment.

National Institute of Fashion Technology, Jodhpur offers 4-years full-time B.Des and B.F.Tech programmes. Candidates shortlisted based on the written examination will take a Situation Test for B.Des Fashion Communication.

NIFT Jodhpur  B.Des Admission Process

• Candidates have to appear for the national-level design entrance test conducted by the National Institute of Fashion Technology  - NIFT entrance exam.

• The entrance exam comprises three rounds - Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test/interview.

• Candidates qualifying CAT and GAT have to further appear for the Situation Test.

• Next candidates have to meet the NIFT Jodhpur cutoff. 

• Candidates meeting the NIFT Jodhpur cutoff have to register for NIFT counselling and candidates will be allotted seats at NIFT Jodhpur as per the rank secured in the entrance exam and seat availability.

• Subsequent to the seat allocation, candidates have to pay the NIFT Jodhpur course fee.

NIFT Jodhpur B.F.Tech Admission Process

• Applicants should fill the application form on the official website of the institute.

• Aspirants have to appear for the NIFT entrance exam comprising the  General Ability Test (GAT).

• Next, candidates have to meet the requisite cut-off.

• Once the cutoff is met, candidates have to register for NIFT counselling and participate in it and seats will be allotted accordingly.

• Document verification and payment of NIFT Jodhpur fess is the last stage of the admission process

NIFT Jodhpur PG Admission Process

• Candidates have to apply and appear for the NIFT PG entrance examination.

• MFM candidates have to take the GAT  exam.

• Candidates qualifying for the above-mentioned exams have to attend group discussions and interviews.

• Qualifying candidates have to register and participate in the NIFT counselling.

• Once a seat has been allotted, candidates have to complete the admission process by paying the fees and getting the documents verified.

Documents Required

• Self Attested copy of 10+2  class mark sheet and certificate.

• Self Attested copy of mark sheets of 3 or 4 years Diploma/Degree on the basis of which the candidate is seeking admission.

In case of an applicant applying for any reserved seat, the following documents must be submitted.

• Self Attested copy of SC certificate. 

• Self Attested copy of ST certificate. 

• Self Attested copy of disability certificate.

• Self Attested copy of the OBC certificate in the prescribed format.

Note: Applicants can get the final result regarding admission within 15 days after the interview.
