Nifts have almost all the facilities. it has amazing infrastructure.. almost all the campuses are completely air conditioned. Wi-Fi and labs are available for all the departments . Girls hostel have amazing facilities too. They have gym,acs ,Wi-Fi, laundary room with fully automatic machines and irons.. mess facility is available in the hostel itself.. thought hostel is at 10 mins walk away from the campus,but the place is beautiful and clean

The curriculum is same in all the campuses and pretty good faculties. They are teaching pretty good they always help students in getting the knowledge they have.. though faculty is a bit inexperienced in new campuses like daman and Srinagar but old campuses are amazing in terms of faculty. They will always be available to help you with internships and assignments.

If you are goin to nift ,you must know that to get a placement with good salary you have to work very hard here since day 1, campuses like Delhi and Mumbai are pretty good for that,though the placement is centralised but campus do add some value.. the avg placement is of like 4-5 LPA for starters.

Avg money per year will be around 5 LPA and it might look like it's not worth it in the Beginning but with hardwork u can make it work..if your passion is designing you are gonna love it

Campus life is amazing though. You will meet a lot of amazing people with very different cultures and you will learn a lot.. nift is one of those campuses where u can be the jack of all trades or the king of one it's completely upon u. We have a lots of competitions and games here.. you can be whatever and however you wanna be ,no one will judge you.

Overall it's gonna be an amazing place with a lots of opportunities.. all you have to do is work hard and focus on your portfolio and cvvs

Yes, the institute have most of the equipment which is required in an institute. But in terms of area, it is smaller than many other government institute. For the equipment part, it have various machines and labs for learning new things, some pcs are of older version but mostly function-able. Boys hostel is not at all good in comparison to girls hostel. there might be some technical issues in smart board but they are fine. And hygiene is properly maintained in campus.

Basically in initial years we learn the subjects of mixed departments and in the later years we are given specialized knowledge about our own department. It is basically practical based course. But can't say it makes us job ready yet because I'm still learning in the initial year.

Well, in the course we have to take internship in various firms which also helps in getting placements. And the institute offers a centralised placements which also helps in giving fair opportunity to everyone.

It demands a huge sum of money even after being a government college. And the students have to buy other materials for their work on their own which is really unfair after taking a lot of money already.

As it is a practical course we engage ourselves in various machines and equipment and also visit various shops and marketing places to get the real knowledge. Sports and cultural activities are promoted in our college. During the exam week it become very hectic to submit various assignments and work at the same time.

One of the best thing about this institute is that students learn most of their things by their own and creates various new and innovative ideas and designs which is really amazing and helpful for the market.

Nift Mumbai has the 1st digital library in India. All the class in the campus have ACs and smart boards which are frequently operated. The campus has WiFi which works 24/7. The campus is always kept clean.

I'm studying B. F. Tech in Nift Mumbai. The quality of teaching is extremely good with friendly and supportive staff. The curriculum is frequently updated for the students through mails. The faculty takes care that each and every student gets the updates.

The quality of placements is good with an average package of 5lacs/yr. The highest package that was offered to a B. F. Tech student was 18lacs/yr. The campus provides 95% placements with top companies. The college only allows the companies which are one of the top or are going to be in coming years.

The fees is quite high, but its worth. The fees for per semester is 1,30,000 and carries with each semester.

Nift Mumbai provides best opportunities to showcase one's talent. Annually, all the Nift campuses join together and conduct various competitions.

College has all the required amenities, though in a limited amount. Hygiene is properly maintained. That's what the campus should be proud of. Mumbai campus has the best resource centre (library) among all the NIFT centres. All facilities provided in college are maintained properly.

I study Fashion Communication Design as my major subject. The quality of teaching is a bit lower than expected. Th curriculum gets updated every four years but it has wide range of courses in a single department, which did not appeal to the mass audience

Placements are done considering NIFT as a singke entity in the country. Anyone from any centre can apply for placements in the four centres where placements take place. Placement quantity and quality is poor. Companies come with insanely low packages.

My course costs around INR 3.5L per Year.

Small campus, lesser activities for students to take part in. Teachers and staff are helpful in their ways possible.

The college has a beautiful campus of 10 acres , highly equipped with all the latest machines and Infrastructure along with WiFi. The library is amazing . Limited addition books from all across the world are available. We have a basketball court, badminton court, football ground.

I'm in the fashion deign department and the facilities are really experienced and guide you in the best possible way. They send us for internships and projects whichare industry oriented and the curriculum is par with Fashion Institute of technology Newyork. Exchange programmes are also available to study in countries like japan, Newyork, and many more.

Placements are fair enough, it's your skill which you develop during these 4 years which are going to make a mark afterwards. Your internships will matter the most, where you intern and what are your contacts in the industry give you an edge over others.

Many College activities take place , clubs sports and cultural fests are always wondered. Teachers are encouraging and give us opportunities to do things out of the box and come up creative ideas for social change. Location is safe . Well equipped to handle emergencies.
