The Library, which started with a collection of 600 books in 1973, is now a premier university library of the North-Eastern Region of India with a collection of over 2.9 lakh volumes of books and bound periodicals supplemented by the enormous information resources now available through the e-ShodhSindhu Consortium for Higher Education Resources and the links to global information resources and services provided on its webpage.

- Guest Room/Waiting Room
The Campus has Guest Houses at Shillong, Guwahati Airport, and Tura Campus. With the addition of a new Guest House with 52 Guest Rooms as well as on attachment of 10 RUAB cottages and the International Students Apartments under the aegis of the old Guest House, today the University is capable of accommodating more than 200 delegates at a time.
- Medical/Hospital
The Campus has two health centers in Shillong; one located in Bijni Complex and the other on the Campus, Umshing. The health centers provide free medical care and medicines to the teaching and administrative staff as well as to the students of the University.
- Alumni Associations
The Campus has a good networking for the alumni association.
- Boys Hostel
The Campus has a few hostels providing seats to a limited number of male students in the Tura Campus of NEHU. Students seeking hostel accommodation in Tura Campus, students may apply for hostel accommodation to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, NEHU, Tura through the Head of the Department.
- Girls Hostel
The Campus has a few hostels providing seats to a limited number of female students in the Tura Campus of NEHU. Students seeking hostel accommodation in Tura Campus, students may apply for hostel accommodation to the Pro-Vice-Chancellor, NEHU, Tura through the Head of the Department.
- Gym
The Campus has a well-equipped gymnasium for both men and women.
