    PCCE Goa Admission Process

    Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Goa offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. PCCE Goa admissions are offered to B.E and M.E programmes. For PCCE Goa admission to the B.E programme, candidates  should have a valid score on the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET). The GCET score of a previous year is not valid. Further, candidates who qualify the entrance exam have to participate in the GCET counselling and select PCCE Goa as their preferred college. Seats are allotted to the candidates on the basis of their merit of ranks, preferences filled and availability of seats.

    PCCE Goa admission to the M.E programme is offered on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the bachelor’s degree. Candidates with a valid GATE score and work experience will be given preference for Padre Conceicao College of Engineering admission to the M.E programme. Then, shortlisting of candidates is done on the basis of the performance of candidates in the degree level examination or GATE. Later, selected candidates have to report to the college and get their documents verified and pay the PCCE Goa admission fee.     Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Goa offers five undergraduate programmes. PCCE Goa courses at the UG level include B.E Computer Engineering, B.E Electronics and Computer Engineering, B.E Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, B.E Information Technology and B.E Mechanical Engineering. The course duration of the PCCE Goa B.E programme is 4 years. To be eligible for PCCE Goa B.E admission, candidates must have passed 10+2 with an aggregate of 45% marks in the science stream.

    PCCE Goa B.E Admission Procedure

    • First, candidates are required to meet the eligibility criteria for PCCE Goa B.E admission. 
    • Next, candidates should register and apply for the Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa.
    • Then, candidates have to appear for the entrance exam- Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) and obtain a valid score. GCET score of a previous year is not valid. 
    • After the declaration of the GCET result, candidates who qualify for the entrance exam have to participate in the counselling of GCET for admission into the B.E course offered by PCCE Goa. 
    • During the GCET counselling process, candidates have to give their first preference to Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Goa.

    It's really unfortunate and you have my sympathies but there are a lot of more entrance exams you can appear for to get into engineering. JEE Mains is one of them. You must have heard about it. SRMJEEE, VITEEE,COMEDK, MHT-CET are some othy entrance exams you should target if you want to get into engineering.
