Padre Conceicao College of Engineering, Goa has a dedicated Training and Placement Cell (TPC) that helps students get jobs by keeping strong relationships with companies for on-campus and off-campus recruiting drives, internships, and projects. The PCCE Goa placement cell actively conducts training and career guidance programmes for the students to prepare them for placement drive and competitive exams. PCCE Goa placement is conducted both on-campus and off-campus. To prepare students for industry needs, the PCCE Goa placement cell collaborates with companies to conduct hands-on workshops, guest lectures, hackathons, field visits, panel discussions etc. The objective of the placement cell is to create awareness and mentor students on the different career options and avenues for higher studies and to provide students with industry exposure through internships, guest lectures, workshops, job fairs and field trips.
The pre-final year and final-year students are prepared for the campus recruitment drive with comprehensive training for aptitude, interview facing skills, soft skills, resume writing, group discussions, communication skills etc. To train students, the institute collaborates with professional training organisations such as TIME, FACE, and Maxxcell. As per the PCCE Goa placement statistics for the UG programme (data taken from the NIRF report), out of 221 eligible candidates, 172 have been placed with a median salary of Rs.3,80,000 in the year 2021. However, 15 students opted for higher education from PCCE Goa in 2021. On the other hand, according to the Padre Conceicao College of Engineering placement statistics for the PG programme (data taken from the NIRF report), out of 2 eligible candidates, 2 have been placed with a median salary of Rs.4,50,000 in the year 2021.
