The three-dimensional world of accessory design is an exciting field of creativity and experimentation – it deals with the design of a wide variety of wearable and non-wearable accessory objects encompassing personal accessories like bags, shoes, jewellery as well as home décor objects.
The course learning integrates knowledge of making with a keen sense of aesthetics which is then applied to design and develop a wide of range objects for essential every day to high-end luxury markets. Fusing imagination, aesthetics and functionality, students acquire making skills, hone their perception and develop design aptitude to create lifestyle accessories and systems. Career prospects are enhanced by national and international exposure, real-time projects and mentoring by industry experts.
The 4 years of the UG programme is a combination of lectures, seminars, studio work and workshops for hands-on learning and making. Our on-campus maker space is well-equipped for both mechanical and digital fabrication and have full-time technicians to support and facilitate student work. Projects often take students outside the classroom for extended field work for e.g. study trips, field research and industry visits. Students spend their time interacting with faculty and industry mentors; learning different materials, processes and technologies; studying past and future trends; understanding local and global aesthetics and styles; working with both traditional as well as contemporary crafts and techniques.
The UG Accessory Design course provides a large canvas for exploration and self-expression, students are encouraged to become agile thinkers, adept makers and fearless creatives.

Bags, Shoes, Watches, Eyewear, Jewellery (precious & non-precious)
- Non-Wearable Accessories
Home Décor Objects, Office Accessories, Tableware
This programme is not subjected to approval by any Government of India regulatory bodies like UGC, AICTE etc.
A Candidate must have passed 10+2 pass in any discipline with 50% marks
