With an emphasis on Communication Design, this course helps students develop a creative, innovative, and unique approach. Our learning methodologies and a flexible curriculum help students develop design skills and a form of artistic expression that is compatible in a new-age scenario.The course is designed with an equal emphasis on all the core functions of communication design such as print media, motion graphics, film & television, photography, digital media, web & app design, and other interactive applications. Students who take this course are provided with a one-stop solution to efficiently tackle design obstacles while simultaneously figuring out advanced strategies to augment their visual communication skills.
The course starts with a basic overview of design that is established to embed the foundation for one to become a Design Thinker or Strategist. It aims to develop one’s fundamentals and build a strong base across various creative disciplines. Modules like ‘Design Context’ and ‘Image Creation’ will introduce and provide conceptual, theoretical, and applied knowledge for Graphic Design and Advertising. Students will also learn the basics of Communication Design and its impact across industries, along with key research methods, the analytical ability to investigate consumers & markets, and attaining a broad understanding of techniques involved in the analysis of markets and end users.
After a while, students will begin to consolidate learning in design thinking and media, applying it to solve design problems in graphics and advertising communication. Students are also encouraged to come to terms with realities of the Design Management world. Later, students will also be engaged in professional practices and industry-linked live projects or analytical industry projects. This will give a golden opportunity to students, who can critically evaluate, reflect, and perform effectively in a professional environment.
This programme is not subjected to approval by any Government of India regulatory bodies like UGC, AICTE etc.
Open for Graduates from any stream. Candidates with a valid CEED score are eligible for a direct Personal Interview along with portfolio evaluation. They are not required to appear for Pearl Academy’s Written Exam.
