PESIT Bangalore provides admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Admissions to B.Tech and B.E programmes are offered through PESSAT/KCET and to BBM and BCA programmes through PESSAT scores. The Institute also offers admissions to the MCA programmes based on PESSAT/PGCET scores, to M.tech programmes based on PESSAT/GATE/PGCET scores and to MBA programmes based on PESSAT/MAT/CAT/CMAT/GMAT/GRE scores. For B.Tech/B.E Programmes-
Candidates seeking admission to these UG programmes, need to appear and qualify PESSAT/KCET.
Based on the qualifying scores, students have to register themselves for the counselling process on the official website of PESSAT.
Students need to submit the registration forms along with all required documents and make the payment of fees.
Candidates will get admission to these UG programmes after successful document verification and fee payment etc.
Provisional blocking of seats through higher fee/management/NRI/PIO/OCI/sponsored quota is also possible.
For BBM/BCA Programme-
Candidates interested in taking admission to BBM/BCA programmes, need to appear and qualify PESSAT.
Based on the marks scored by candidates in PESSAT, candidates will register themselves for counselling along with necessary documents and fee payment on the official website of PES University.
Eligible candidates also need to clear the interview conducted by the university.
PES University admissions to BBM and BCA programmes will be offered after the successful verification of documents and payment of fees.
For MCA Programme-
Candidates interested in taking admission to the MCA programme need to qualify PESSAT/PGCET.
Based on the qualifying marks, candidates will register themselves for counselling on the official website of PESSAT.
Application forms have to be submitted along with requisite documents and making the payment of fees.
Candidates seeking admissions through PGCET scores have to follow the regulations of PGCET cell to get the complete admission process done.
For M.Tech Programmes-
Admissions to M.Tech programmes are done based on the scores of PESSAT/GATE/PGCET.
Eligible candidates have to register themselves for counselling on the website of PESSAT along with requisite documents and payment of fees.
Candidates will get admission to this programme based on the eligible marks, document verification, fee payment etc.
GATE qualifying candidates need to register for getting admissions to M.Tech programmes at the institute but are exempted from appearing in the test.
Students seeking admissions based on PGCET scores need to follow the admission regulations of the PGCET cell after getting the counselling procedure done.
For MBA Programme-
Candidates seeking admission to MBA programme, should either appear and qualify PESSAT/MAT/CAT/CMAT/GMAT/GRE.
Students qualifying PESSAT/MAT must have a valid score of more than 500, CAT and CMAT qualifying students must have above 50th percentile.
Eligible candidates also have to attend and qualify a group discussion round followed by a personal interview at PES University Ring Road Campus.
Candidates clearing both GD & PI can proceed further for admissions.
PESIT Bangalore admissions to MBA programmes will be offered after successful verification of documents and payment of fees.

As PES University is one of the topmost colleges in Bangalore, the academics are so good. They mostly focus on academics and the curriculum gets updated every year or twice a year, including all the recent developments in the field. I'm studying b.tech CSE, Teaching faculties are very good , All are experienced lecturers, Teaching level is high.And main thing is they will teach according to the trend like they will teach what must be taught at that situation.
I am pursuing BE in Electronics and communication , currently i am in 8th semester . Teachers in each department are good , they are hardworking , they give lots of time for each course. Current curriculum of this college is too good than other private colleges in India. Courses are updated time to time according to latest technologies evolving in world.
PES Institute of Technology (PESIT), Bangalore was established in 1988 as the first engineering college which comes under the PES group of institutions. PES University has three campuses in Bangalore which are located in Outer Ring Road, Electronic City and Hanumantha Nagar respectively. The institute offers admission to students based on the scores achieved by students in PESSAT/KCET.
Around 90-95% of students at PESIT are placed. The highest salary package offered at PESIT is 35 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA.
For admission, the applicant must appear for the PESSAT test. The results will be declared within three days of the examination. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of the PESSAT test. If the candidate is taking PGCET, he or she must get selected for admission after participating in the counselling process. The PESIT seats available for the MCA program are 60.
