RKGEC Ghaziabad Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

RKGEC has a separate hostel for boys within the campus. The rooms are well ventilated with chairs, almirahs, beds, study tables, mattresses, and these rooms are shared by the students. The hostels provide 24 hrs Electricity backup, a water supply equipped with a purifier, and a water cooler fitted on every floor. These hostels are protected by round-the-clock security supported by a security agency and dedicated warden. We serve pure hygienic and healthy nutritious food in the hostel and the menu for the food is decided by the mess committee of the students and it is changed on monthly basis as per students requirements. We also have a gymnasium and outdoor games such as Cricket, football, basketball, badminton, and volleyball; indoor games like carom, and chess for the students. For these games, we have a trainer to trained the students. These hostels are Wi-Fi enabled for access to the internet for hostellers within the campus. The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The Library functioning here as an information disseminating center catering to the needs of students, researchers and staff community has a major role in paving the way for better academic excellence. The Library has been Spreads with an area of 750 sq.m. Specialized collections of Books, Journals, and Non-book materials are available in Basic Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Applied Science, and Humanities. The Collection replete with 35285 Volumes of Books, 60 National and International Journals, 205 back volumes, and 1365 CDs. The RKGEC - Central Library has access to e-resources of IEEE, ASME, J-Gate, ASTM, ELSEVIER, GALE CENGAGE Learning, WILEY BLACKWELL, Access Engineering, and DELNET Journals in the different fields of education.RKGEC has a well-stocked modern centrally air-conditioned library. The library is kept open for 15 hours on working days to inculcate the habit of reading and acquiring knowledge. On Sundays and holidays, it is open during the daytime for 7 hours.
