MD Dermatology at Raja Rajeshwari Medical College and Hospital, Bangalore Offline Course

Doctor of Medicine in Dermatology is three years full-time course. Offered by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and approved by National Medical Commission (NMC).

Three years after registration as postgraduate students for MD course. All the candidates joining the postgraduate training programme shall work as full-time residents during the period of training, attending not less than 80% of the training during each calendar year and will be given full-time responsibility, assignments, and participation in all facets of the education process. The postgraduate students are required to keep the record of their clinical, laboratory, operative work etc, countersigned by the teacher under whose guidance work was done. During the period of clinical training, the postgraduate student should maintain regular contact with the thesis guide. During the training for the degree to be awarded in clinical disciplines, there shall be proper training in basic medical science related to disciplines concerned. In all postgraduate training programme both clinical and basic medical science, the emphasis is to be laid on preventive and social aspects and emergency care. Facilities for biopsies, relevant investigations and imaging etc. also will be made available for training purpose.
