No doubt it is one of the best colleges in city. Infrastructure is way too good and ahead in terms of many other colleges. Faculties are friendly and beloved principal sir is a cool person. But sadly it's not what it seems. Placement cell is one of the worst ones i have ever heard. The amount of politics there is ruining students careers. Mind you i am a placed student. The placement cell is headed by a sir who has lots of airs about his so called Connections in industry. He refuses to address to student's concerns. Fine you have a committee at your disposal but some problems can't be handled by them and when students ask you. You are plain rude and not approachable. In the name of 100 percent placement you are forcing students to sit for mass recruitments after which you are not allowed to apply for any further placement drives. The only ones allowed are the ones he wants to or the ones placement committee knows. Students are sitting here with single job offer and not allowed to apply for more even if they want to. And people from placement cell are there with 3 job offers. Politics runs in Placement cell and the one who manages it. The whole placement scenario is a big facade. Half of my friends are unplaced. That half in total is almost 500. Trust me don't sit for mass recruitments. You will get a better job later on.

RAIT is a good college when it comes to faculty and student crows. They provide industry exposure and have a lot of guest speakers. The curriculum is not as good as it should be. This college has a huge campus and is very pretty looking. It is in close proximity to nerul railway station. Easy to commute.

The place where you get the best experiences of life!

College life is at par as it filled with excitement throughout the year. There are several committees, committee elections coupled with all kinds of sports and recreations throughout the semester. The College provides several placement opportunities even for the ones with average profile. Faculty seems somewhat partial here and is inclined towards students who help their teaching and assistance record inflate. Quite a few neglected during vivas and practicals and eventually students are left with self analysis as the only guide. Hostel and Placement facilitites are great as there is a dedicated team solely for placements throughout the year. Industry exposure can be gained only if you're willing to have an internship or approach projects in companies relevant to your interests. The college provides no assistance as far as corporate exposure is concerned before engineering graduation.

No pressure to study, lot of events happening throughout the year - if not in RAIT then other colleges(medical, dentistry) within campus! Awesome sports facility, library, classrooms! Teachers are also very chilled out(except few) Enjoyed my 4 years to the fullest!
