RCE Roorkee Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has Munna Lal Bhawan and Krishna Dev Bhavan are the two boys hostels at the campus. The combined accommodation capacity of both the hostels is around 600. The boys hostel has basic facilities like almirah, common TV room, gym, wifi etc.  

The College has Prem Lata Bhawan is the girls hostel of Roorkee College of Engineering. The girls hostel has basic amenities like gym with trainer, common TV room, spacious room, almirah etc. The girls hostel can accommodate 150 students.

The College has a small dispensary is there at the campus and it offers free medical services to the students and faculty members. For emergency situations, the college also has an ambulance. The ambulance has an ICU facility and a medical technician is also always available in the ambulance.

The College has a well maintained gym is there for both girls and boys students. The gym also has professional trainers. Students can workout in the morning or evening as per their convenience.

The College library of the college is furnished and has a reading room with a seating capacity of 150 people. There are over 14 thousand books, 68 national journals and numerous international journals in the library. A digital library is also there for students. The digital library has 3000 e-books. Students can access the digital library from their mobile phones and tablets as well. A separate reference library which is spread over an area of 400 square meters with science, engineering, humanities etc books is also present at the campus.

The College has a basketball court, lawn tennis court, volleyball court, badminton court, playgrounds for cricket and football and an athletic track is present at the campus for students who have interest in sports. RCE Roorkee also provides facilities for table tennis, carrom board, chess etc. Every year a number of sports events are conducted at the campus.

The college computer labs have around 432 computers and all the computers have LAN connectivity. The wifi facilities are also available. 100Mbps internet connection is also available in the college labs.

The College has a spacious and fully air-conditioned canteen. The canteen serves both vegetarian and non vegetarian food to students. The food is hygienic and affordable also. The menu of the canteen is changed as per the season cycles.

The College has to conduct academic seminars and extracurricular activities the institute has an auditorium facility.

The college has dedicated buses for students and faculty members. The buses provide to and fro transportation services from college campus to different parts of the city.

The College has to exchange professional knowledge, organize technical conferences, seminars, workshops & training courses for the students Roorkee College of Engineering has an alumni association.

The College has all the areas of the college like hostel, canteen, classrooms etc. are wifi enabled. Students and faculty members can use the internet easily on their mobile phones.  

The College has a well maintained swimming pool for the students who have interest and passion for swimming.

The College has a lab facilities include separate labs for various departments. The laboratories allow students to do their practical work and gain knowledge.

The college campus has a photocopy shop, stationery shop, convenience store etc. Furthermore, coloured printing facility is also available inside campus premises.

The college campus has Punjab National Bank ATM. Additionally, ATMs of numerous public and private banks are also available within the campus.

The College has a guest room to facilitate national and international guests at the campus.
