    Nice

    College Infrastructure

RVCE is one of the best colleges placement wise. However when it comes to infrastructure and sports facilities, a lot o can be done for improvement. Laboratories are well equipped and WiFi is functional . Washroom is moderately cleaned however food quality is not satisfactory.

    Academics

I am pursuing BTech in CSE(Cybersecurity). I chose this course merely because of the high placement rate. I don't like the quality of teaching much. However undoubtedly the curriculum is updated and includes all recent developments.

    Placements

College placements are excellent. About 97% of the students willing to sit for placements are placed. The highest package was 80lpa(ECE). The college is very supportive when it comes to placement and they make sure students get enough internship opportunities.

    Value for Money

In all it costs me about 5 lacs per year to study here. Its worth it.

    Campus Life

Curfew time for girls is 6:30 so we clearly don't have much of campus life. However RVCE has a good sports culture so one can actively participate in various sports. Some teachers are very supportive some aren't.

    College Infrastructure

College utilizes the space very efficiently but in all over college construction is going on result in less space for exploring. Classes are good enough and have nice environment, labs are efficient but wifi is little less speed but work is going on to improve it, hostels infrastructure is good but food is not upto the mark but overall the infrastructure is well maintained and hygienic.

    Academics

I am currently in ECE department and as all says it is one of the toughest branch in engineering but teachers here makes it simpler and the curriculum is upto date and we are free to develop any required skills of any other fields so makes us the job ready.

    Placements

Placement is the most important thing and here in the college they are just awesome, almost all big MNC came here for placement and here it is such a nice placement almost everyone got placed and average package is about 12LPA and you can search more on the official site of RVCE for detailed overview.

    Value for Money

There are various method to get admission one is all India exam COMEDK and other is Karnataka state exam KCET and one is management quota, fee structure of comedk is around 2.5L per year.

    Campus Life

College life is good, here in college you will get enough choice to join many clubs and enjoy your college life even here acedmic puts a lot of pressure but you have to learn to live and enjoy college life.

    Others

Everything is good and it is one of the leading private institutions in India somewhat underrated.

Enjoying, Peaceful, Average Teaching, Good placements

    College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure lacks the modern day equipments. While some new departments are good as they are constructed recently, other departments' classrooms are old and even the computers are very old and slow. The Wi-Fi network is designed in such a way that we have to login with the given student credentials and it keeps on refreshing for every 20 minutes. It also gives a very restricted access. Cleanliness is good in the campus and the food in the hostel is decent good hygiene is maintained.

    Academics

I am currently studying Computer Science Engineering as it fuels my fascination wit the intricacies of technology, offering a gateway to innovation and problem solving. The syllabus is quite old and lacks the current modern requirements. The teaching is average and the students often depend on self studies. The curriculum needs to be updated to the recent developments and requirements.

    Placements

The only best thing about our college is the Campus Placements. For Computer Science Engineering there were 211 offers made in 2022. The total companies in 2022 was 291 for all the branches and 1485 offers were made in total. Currently for 2023(still in progress) there are 225 total companies with 963 offers made in total. The only reason why many people are joining RVCE and why it's popular is the placements.

    Value for Money

I am definitely feeling that i am not getting the expected return for the money/fees. I got admission through KCET and i am currently paying 1lakh per year. The fees should be around 80k but they take an extra 20k mandatory fees with the excuse for skill labs. They teach nothing in skill labs and just waste our and their time. They are doing skill labs so that the parents cannot question them (that's the only reason).

    Campus Life

I would say the campus life is quite good as there are a lot of Technical and Non-Technical(dancing,music) clubs. The students can enjoy their life in the campus. There will be a grand fest or 2 in a year with famous DJ's and musicians invited and performed. There will always be some events hosted by the clubs such as dance, drama programs etc occasionally. Overall the students can enjoy their campus life.

Yes our college do have all the necessary infrastructure facilities and equipments. The faculties are good along with well equipped labs. Classrooms are spacious and every class has smart boards with decemt wifi. The hostels along with the mess is clean and hygenic.

    Academics

I am studying ECE. I choose this stream as it has a good amalgamation of software and hardware components. The quality of teaching is very good as the teachers are well qualified and up to date. Yes the curriculum is wpdated and talks about the recent developments in the field of electronics and software. The knowledge of both software and hardware makes me job ready.

    Placements

The quality of placements are getting better and better each year.89% students were placed. The highest salary offered this year is 92lpa. Average salary of was of 8-10lpa. I am not yet placed so i dont know about that.

    Value for Money

It costs me 6 lakhs per year. Yes I do feel it is worth the money as of seeing the placement records and teaching efforts.

    Campus Life

Campus life is better than most of the private colleges. Its best feature is its greenery and its worst is it only has one mess the other hostel students except that of cauvery hostel have to travel for food. The students can engage in club activities along with sports. The fellow students are very helpful in a healthy competitive way. The teachers are friendly and supportive. The support staff are also friendly. Its location is very pristine as it is in bangalore, many opportunities come along.

    Others

The college is better than most of the private colleges. In my opinions it comes in the third position in comparison with private colleges i.e after Bits Pilani and DAIICT

    The life of RVCE

    Verified Review
    College Infrastructure

The class rooms are big, but in most of the part of college construction is going on. The Libraries are up to date you will find all kinds of book. The system of CSE,ISE,AIML are good but the Laboratories in ECE,EEE are not that good most of time we are struggling to get the output. There is only one sports ground.

    Academics

The batch joining from 2022 are having chill Academics. for us its 3 CIE and 1 SEE. But the students have to gibe just 2 internals which will cover 60 out of 100 and rest 40 marks if for projects. This give you a total of 100 and if there is a lab subject 50 marks for Lab. The final exam will be of 100 marks (called as SEE) and if lab then Lab exam of 50 marks.

    Placements

The Placements are really good in RVCE no matter in which Brach you are from you will be allowed to site in almost in each and every company Placements exam. If you are in CSE,ISE,ECE,AIML you will get Placements for sure.

    Value for Money

Yes is definitely value for money. If you in branches such as CSE,ISE,AIML,ECE you will get really good placement

    Campus Life

The campus life in RVCE is almost average, You will have many test going in a semester but the college club will conducting events to bust you and give you energy.

    Others

Overall the college is good in placement, if you want to study in out side India after B.E it could be good place. The college life is little bit hard. Academics are average. So I will say if you are just seeing placement then its really good to join.

iam interested next year rvce banglore cse non local how to admissiondetails pls

Dear student, hope you are doing well. You must complete a number of processes in order to apply for admission as a non-local applicant to RVCE (Rashtreeya Vidyalaya College of Engineering) in Bangalore for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). A smart idea is to visit the official RVCE website and get in touch with their admission office for the most recent information because admission procedures sometimes change. Here is a general description of what happens:

Check Your Eligibility: Determine whether you meet the requirements for the RVCE CSE program. Academic prerequisites, such as specified entrance exam results and educational credentials, are generally included.

Entrance Exams: Scores from entrance exams are accepted for admission by many engineering institutes in India, including RVCE. applicants at the national level take the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, while applicants at the state level take the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET). Make sure you comprehend which exams, given your category (non-local), you must take.

Application: Keep an eye out for notifications on the application process on the RVCE admissions portal. The college might utilize a standard application system like KCET or COMEDK UGET or it might have its own application form. Complete the application form completely and submit all necessary paperwork.

Registration for Entrance Exams: Follow the instructions on the official website of the organization in charge of administering the entrance exam to register for it. Be mindful of deadlines and make sure you have all the paperwork required for registration.

Exam preparation: Get ready for the entrance exam in full. Pay attention to the syllabus and practice previous questions regardless of whether you're taking JEE Main, KCET, or another test.

Exam and Findings: On the appointed day, take the entrance exam. Check the cutoff scores for the CSE program at RVCE after the results are released to see if you've met the requirements for admission.

Counseling: To determine seat allocation, RVCE may perform a counseling procedure. If your score falls inside the cutoff, you must take part in the counseling and seat selection procedures. Choosing your selected college and branch may be required here.

After receiving your seat assignment, you must go to the college for document verification. Bring both the original and copies of the required documentation.

Payment: To confirm your admission, pay the appropriate fees within the allotted time. In-depth information on the pricing schedule and payment options will be provided by RVCE.

Reporting to College: Arrive at the college on the specified day in order to register for classes.

For accurate and comprehensive information on admission requirements, application deadlines, eligibility requirements, and more, always refer to the official RVCE website and admission portal. Contact RVCE's admission office if you have any particular questions about the CSE program's entrance requirements for candidates who are not locals.
