Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering with Specialization in Oil and Gas Informatics in Academic Collaboration with IBM is four years full-time course and offered by University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun.
This program is designed to prepare professionals which cater to the needs of the Oil and Gas industry with the right skills in the Oil and Gas domain as well as Information Technology. The program introduces the students to the entire value chain of Oil and Gas including exploration, refining, petrochemicals, production engineering, reservoir engineering and supply chain along with the necessary Information technology skills like application development, database, networks, security, business intelligence, and data warehousing and open standards.
UPES Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) followed by Centralized Counselling Or Centralized Counselling through Merit rank for Non Exam Category.
Examination Pathway admissions through UPESEAT (Upto 80% of Seats) : a. Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th). b. Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th). Non Examination Pathway – admissions through Board Merit / JEE Mains Score (Upto 20% of Seats) : a. For Board Merit : Minimum 80% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 80% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th class). b. For JEE Mains Merit : Minimum 60% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th & 12th) and minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics at Senior Secondary level (12th class). JEE Mains (cut off to be announced after declaration of JEE Mains-2017 result).
