JMIT Admission Details: Eligibility, Dates, Application, Fees

Seth Jai Parkash Mukand Lal Institute of Engineering and Technology admissions are conducted for undergraduate and postgraduate programmes: B.E./B.Tech, B.B.A, B.C.A, M.C.A and M.B.A. As per the JMIT Yamunanagar admission criteria, admission to B.E/B.Tech are given on the basis of JEE merit scores. 

Admission to all JMIT Yamunanagar programmes is governed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the Haryana State Technical Education Society (HSTES), and the KUK. Every year, the Department of Technical Education, Government of Haryana, conducts online counselling based on the rank/score of the qualifying test (JEE,LEET,CMAT,OLET).

The eligibility criteria for B.E/B.Tech admission to JMIT is to have a 10+2 (non-medical) with an exam score of at least 45% in five subjects, including English (40% marks in case of reserved category).

The college offers students 12 courses at the undergraduate level. Some of the college's main undergraduate programmes include B.E/B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, etc. and B.B.A, B.C.A UG programmes. The duration of UG courses range from 3 years to 4 years.

• Appear for the JEE entrance exam. 
• Next, candidates have to submit the Haryana B.Tech application form. 
• Following that, the merit list is released, and candidates must participate in Haryana State Technical Education Society's counselling process (HSTES). 
• The final decision is made on the basis of the JEE Main scores, state-level counselling, seat availability, document verification, and fee payment..
