Shambhunath Institute of Pharmacy, Allahabad was established in the year 2006. The institute is affiliated to Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow and Board of Technical Education (BTE), Kanpur and approved by All India Council of Technical Education (AlCTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), New Delhi. SIP Allahabad offers Pharmacy courses in diploma, UG and PG levels. The SIP Allahabad courses include D.Pharm, B.Pharm and M. Pharm. The institute also admits lateral entry for SIP Allahabad UG course. Before applying for the SIP Allahabad admission, students must ensure that they meet the minimum eligibility criteria. 

The SIP Allahabad PG courses are offered in two specialisations M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics and M.Pharm in Pharmacology. Candidates who are applying for the SIP Allahabad UG courses must have passed the Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET). Those who applying for the SIP Allahabad PG courses  Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) entrance exam are required to be cleared. The institute provides many facilities to students.
