The college has Excellent tie-up hostel facilities available in the immediate vicinity of the college, for male students. Most importantly the dedicated hostel is for only 1st-year students. There are three hostels for 1st-year students. Out of three, two hostels are for boys. Seat capacity of the hostels is very limited, so the students can stay at hostels first cum first serve basis.

The college has a Well equipped and fully air-conditioned First aid center available within the campus with well-trained medical support staff. Reputed doctors are available on call and for Hostellers, it is available for 24 Hrs. An Emergency vehicle is also available around the clock.

The college has a Central Library of SIT was established in the year 1999. In today’s high-tech learning environment the ‘Central Library as a learning resource is taking up increasingly more academic space and time in the life of a learner. The library is the heart of our academic institution. At present, the library has more than fifty-five thousand volumes. The library is also rich with non-print materials like CDs and DVDs, e-projects, etc. To provide the flavor of national and foreign publications to the students and faculty members, the library has organized book exhibitions from time to time.

The college has a Games and Sports committee member and a sports instructor who helps and encourages students to participate in the ‘Annual Sports Meet’ of the institute. Students participate in various competing sports activities. The various sporting activities include Athletics, Interdepartmental Volleyball Championships, Interdepartmental Basketball Championships, Table Tennis Championships, Carrom, Chess, etc.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. Three nos. of well-equipped spacious canteens is available within the Institute campus providing hygienic breakfast, lunch, tea, and snacks for students, faculties as well as visitors at a subsidized rate.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars. Well-furnished separate conference halls situated on the ground floor are meant for the conduct of conferences and conventions in various fields. Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose Memorial Hall: The nerve center of the Convention Centre in the name of Sir Jagadish Chandra Bose memorial hall situated on the ground floor with a sitting capacity of around 200 personnel with full air-conditioned arrangements. Reflected lighting and a quality sound system have been provided with matching acoustic treatment.

The College runs a college Bus service for Faculties and Students along specified routes from the city to the college and back. The arrangement will be continued as long as deemed necessary.

The college has a Banking Facility the Institute is extended by Union Bank of India (A Nationalized Bank) located at a distance of 500 meters from the Campus. The branch name is Siliguri Institute of Technology Branch. The institute has an ATM counter for its Banker just at the entrance and the other one located at the branch.
