Since the beginning, Sitamarhi Institute of Technology, has aimed to provide excellence in technical education, which will contribute in technological development, enhancement of social standards and sustainable research. Sitamarhi Institute of Technology offers undergraduate engineering courses. The college offers 1 degree and 4 courses. The degree being offered is Bachelor of technology (B.Tech). The students can choose their discipline for the degree only if they meet the eligibility criteria. The disciplines available for pursuing the B.Tech programme are- Civil engineering, Mechanical engineering, Computer science engineering and electrical engineering. The All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi approves these 4 courses that are offered at the institute. The duration of the programme is 4 years (8 semesters).After the completion of the undergraduate course, students can decide between employment, further studies or sitting for competitive exams. The Infrastructure of the new building to good. The facilities are very helpful and friendly in nature. They were helping you to build up your bright career. Only one laboratories are there for computer science . There is no hostel and Canteen facilities.

College Infrastructure
The infrastructure in the college is a little poor. We have no laboratories except computer lab. We have a proper library. No sport centers. No hostels. However classes are well maintained. There are no smart boards. There are no living spaces in the college. No canteens as well.

College Infrastructure
The college doest not have a great infrastructure. It has only computer labs. The facilities are limited. No labs for other subjects. Classrooms are pretty good. But there is no smart class. There is a wifi. There are no canteens as such.
