Smt CHM College has a huge campus with many buildings assigned for different courses. The college also has 2 big playgrounds in order to conduct various activities and functions. The college also has vast libraries and science laboratories. Also there are other essential facilities and equipments provided but the college lacks in cleanliness and hygiene, the washrooms and some areas of the premises are not well maintained and unhygienic. The food in the canteen is however hygienic and delicious.
I'm currently pursuing Bachelors in Commerce being in the 6th and last semester. CHM is well known for it's commerce faculty and teaching. The professors are good and intellectual, they teach and explain everything very well. But the college lectures are sometimes not conducted regularly, but the teachers cover the missed out portions in the upcoming lectures so the curriculum and pedagogy system is good.
The college organises placement drive every year during the months of May and April. Decent companies are a part of the placement drive. This year TCS was a part of it. The placements are average not exotic packages are provided.
College does have library and grounds but it doesn't have smart boards, good canteen and appropriate sports facilities. Wifi facility is not available. Sports are not conducted/organized the way it should be.
I have opted for bcom course. The quality of teaching is not upto the mark. Though some teachers do cooperate and are good at teaching and help the students with the issues they face and make them ready for examinations
Placement is average and is fine with decent income for rookies and with enough experience some companies come each year with decent offers for the student to opt for. The college is however supportive in these things
Yes. It has all the equipment. And all the equipment are reliable too. The broken items get replaced on time. There's no wifi in college, though. Some classrooms use smartboards. Not all of them. The canteen is good. Although I'll give it a 3/5 for cleaning, the food is good and healthym
I'm doing my Bachelor's in Mass Media. I found that this stream interests me the most. And this stream is really perfect for me. The curriculum is good too. Teachers teach the portion quite responsibly. My field isn't much famous, but I can assure you that this field is good if you have interest.
Many of my seniors got placed in good companies. The highest package, I think, is around 5 to 6 lakhs per annum. It's good for a start in an unpopular stream. Out of a class of 40, 28 got placed. As I'm still studying, I can't comment much on the experience after the placement.
The fees I was charged is ₹15000. And yeah, it's a very good course for a very good price. The experience I'm getting is all worth it.
We've got fests here which engages students in many cultural activities. There are not many bad features. It's all good. The students are all reliable. Teachers are responsible. There are clubs too. So you can join one if it interests you.
Nah, not much. It's a very cool course and College.
In this year our college is been getting renovated so the problem of some infrastructurural problems are solved. We have a good and clean canteen where we get good food and cold drinks .College has a good library where we can study and read books. It has a two ground one for football, handball, ball badminton and another of cricket and other sports.
The academics are good and we can study a wide variety of subjects. In BSc we have physics ,chemistry, maths, zoology, botany, microbiology and specialization in biotechnology also. The teachers are also good and are well educated in their respective field.
In CHM college, we have a separate placement committee which gives placement to students after the end of graduation. Most of the students got the placement and good packages from different companies.
For aided the fees is very less. For BSc students the fees are close to 6000 to 7000 per year but for BSc IT the computer fees could be more than 7000. The unaided section's fees is much more than aided. So do check whether your subject is in aided or unaided.
The college has a yearly fest which is average as compared to other colleges in mumbai. It has sports Gymkhana where we can participate for various intercollegiate, inter state and national tournaments. It also had a art and theatre section where you can display your creativity and acting. The location is very close to the railway station which is good but nearby there is a gutter flowing which is bad.
The college is good in certain aspects like in sports they support for certain sports like handball, ball badminton table tennis. but there should be more support for other games like cricket football badminton and other games. The infrastructure is been renovated so it's good. The staff and teachers are overall good in their field.
Infrastructure is good. Campus is well maintained. College labs are also good, all mandatory stuffs available. Labs are full filled with AC. Living places are clean and food is hygienic. Open ground is available for sports.
As per my opinion, i'm studying in BSC Computer science and faculty of bsc cs is good. Daily lec and practicals are conducted on timing. Labs are available for practicals. Presentation skills will be developed by college for students.
Quality of placement at CHM is good or average as i don't have much idea about it. As per college records 60-70% students get selected. Yes college is supportive, teachers guides student for placements
Good campus, wide enough to run like a madman or if you wanna jog or idk it's fun to roam around only when there's off lectures. Good structure!!✨✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️✨✨✨✨ It's satisfactory! ????????. B ........
Not sure about other fields but mine is worth every penny and academics are on point sometimes it seems boring but it's fine you don't get all the happiness you wish for!! But I'm happy with all the stuff that has been taught it's fun to practically experience it.....
If you check on the previous batches they said that the placements were pretty good here, idk I heard from the seniors I'm being honest okay? So I'm hoping that we'll get the favourable opportunities.......
5k per year which is pretty good actually but have to ask my parents to spend a fortune! As I said before worth every penny!!!! Also if you wanna improve something take a lil extra money we want more fests in college
The college staff is fine and the best thing is the location you can never get late even if your train is late, A "plus" point. The Psych facilities is awesome we do crazy stuff that will actually blow your mind!! Psyche!!!!!?
We want more college fests and events, that's all just that nothing more
Infrastructure is good they maintain it very well it's so big that all courses are there in this college and also they have 2 big massive playground for students in free period to play so overall it's nice
The cs department is best in this college from my point of view the teachers are very good knowledgeable and also they teach us very well understand student first if student don't understand some concepts they repeat every time no matter how much we want to
Placement is average also I've asked past students who are being working on companies it's average I can say it's depend on our skil our placement is depend on ours only but 50% jobs get by the students and also because of our teachers
Fees is average
It's good
I recommend this college for cs only
