Sonapur College Facilities

Sonapur College has various facilities which make students life easy and help them in academic pursuit. These facilities include a library, computer lab, hostel, conference room and auditorium. Library: Sonapur College Library has the latest volumes, in all the fields of education. The digital library can be accessed on your mobile phone, tablet or laptop once you get a student ID.

Health care: The Sonapur College campus has a medical facility. Medical doctors and other necessary first aid and emergency medicines are available for the staff and students.

Cafeteria: The cafeteria of Sonapur College has a multi-cuisine food court to cater to the varied taste of students and to provide various food items in a hygienic environment.

Hostel: Hostel facilities at Sonapur College are provided for boys and girls. It is equipped with all the modern facilities, these include mess and indoor and outdoor sports facilities.

The college has a well-furnished football field and cricket fields. It also has a hockey field, handball, volleyball and badminton court.

Seminar Hall: The hall is equipped with the latest teaching aids like LCD projector, slide projector and overhead projector. The hall is used for conducting guest lectures, symposiums and seminars.

Computer Centre: The computer centre of Sonapur College maintains and manages campus networking and internet facility. It provides both wired and WiFi connectivity to students and staff. The centre is equipped with the latest system/application software, operating system and various utility software. All students & staff are allowed to access the internet for academic and research purposes.

Girls Hostel
At present, the girl students of the college are entitled to avail the facility of hostel accommodation. Preference is given to ST (P) girls, and selection is done on merit basis. The hostel is situated adjacent to the college campus.
