STC Pollachi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The main objective of providing Hostel is to facilitate the students drawn from far flung areas to pursue their studies with a homely atmosphere. There are separate Hostels available for Boys and girls. The rooms are well furnished with Wi-Fi connectivity. The Common Room in the Hostels provide the inmates recreational facilities such as Carom, Chess etc., and a separate TV room apart from leading newspapers and magazines subscribed in the hostel. Moreover, the Hostel In-charge plays active role in maintaining good discipline and in overall development of the students’ personality by organizing various activities promoting fraternity among the students.

The college has health center with first aid facility for the students.

STC has got the most modern and state –of – the-art library with the good collection of textbooks, reference books etc. numbering 41935. More than 173 reputed National and International Journals are subscribed to provided the latest information on the of various courses of study. In addition, several periodicals procured in CDs from various publications are also available. The digital library of the college has about 2734 CDs. Questions papers of the University Examinations and all back volumes of the Journals are readily available for reference. DELNET and INFLIBNET facilities in our library help research scholars and faculty to update their subject knowledge and also expose them to current areas of research.

The college has the sports facilities for all students.

The college has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

SEMINAR HALL–1 has Capacity of 300 seats with LCD and Audio System, SEMINAR HALL–2 (Air Conditioned) has Capacity of 120 seats with LCD and Audio Systems, SEMINAR HALL–3(Air Conditioned) has Capacity of 150 seats with all modern facilities, SEMINAR HALL–4 has Capacity of 300 seats with LCD and Audio systems.

The college has well maintained buses plying to different areas to facilitate hassle free travel for the students.
