This is one of the best colleges in India. This college has got everything anyone can expect from a college. The cultural fest and the tech fest are the best events of the year. There are a lot more events to mesmerise you through the year. The professors are just excellent and they have great experience in their fields. The campus placement is very good with few offers coming from abroad also. The average salary offered during campusing is high. The best part is that you will have a college life which you will never forget. SRM University is a well known educational institution, and NCR is one of the 3 branches outside its home city I am a student in SRM University NCR Campus, studying computer science and engineering. Like every other college, it has its own pros and cons. The faculties r quite sincere about their jobs. The discipline is maintained at every step. The placement might not occur as a big issue here since we r prepared since starting. In academics criteria, an average student will easily be able to pick up things if he maintains proper interaction with faculties. It's an anti-ragging campus and more over the seniors r friendly enough. Being in 3rd year I can say I didn't have a hard time studying here at any point, the hostels are very good and you all remember the hostel days for ur entire life. On the other hand, infrastructure is not very appealing. The auditorium is small the field size and the labs r just fine. But that doesn't cause much of an issue.

Coming to SRM University I learned many things. Here I found myself a bit secure than at other places. As here at SRM there is no ragging at alll, which means we can live our life normally as we were at home.It is difficult to describe ones college life in just 250 characters, yet i'll try my best. The infrastructure of the college is just as i wished to had in my college. It has all the facilities available for the students such as a big campus area, sports grounds, internet facility, food courts, and many more. We have different types of labs to perform research and experiments.

SRM University: A star among private engineering colleges.

SRM University is undoubtedly one of the best private universities in India. With its central campus in Chennai, it is gradually expanding throughout the country with one camp us already functioning in Modinagar, Ghaziabad, UP. The university campus in Modinagar is a beautiful, modern and full of all facilities. There is a fairly good connectivity to the college through public roadways buses. The university also runs its own buses for day boarders. The university has hostels for students from other states, which have all amenities. The mess is quite spacious and hygiene standards are specially taken care of. The college faculty is a mix of good and bad, however, it depends on what course one is pursuing. The faculty is no doubt hardworking and reciprocates with the extent to which a student shows interest. Academics are strict and there is a systematic and well-planned approach to studies. Most of the courses are in a semester format, having internals and university level exams. The extra-curricular life of the college is quite colorful and rich too. There are many fests that are organised throughout the year ranging from cultural fest, robotics fest, sports test.. the list is long. Placements are fairly good as compared to other private colleges. The brand and name that SRM University has made through its Chennai based campus is undoubtedly beneficial to the NCR-campus students. The kind of company one may get placed in largely depends on a student's own academic record, however on the part of the university there are many companies, reputed ones for that matter, that come to this campus. The fees of the college is quite exorbitant, however of the same level as that of other private engineering colleges. Given that, the name and the value of the SRM tag quite justifies it. It is atleast not like other private universities that are mushrooming and are nothing but shopping malls of degrees. This university takes students through an entrance test as well as through AIEEE. I recommend this for any engineering aspirant who seeks to graduate from a private engineering college.

The SRM university is a good university of the country but its NCR campus is not so good, it has a good infrastructure but infra is not everything college life also matters. But placement wise all the students finally have to go to the chennai branch for selections. So it is a good college.

My college a thing to boast about

Posted on 13 Feb' 16 by ABHISHEK SRIAVASTAVA

I took admission in 2014 and it's my second year in the college. And from now only its full of memories and many more beautiful moments are yet to encounter. I always boast of being a part of such a reputed college. It has given me a platform to represent myself. The Cultural fest is necessary for college life. I used to sing songs (not professionally) but never got a chance to sing on stage but college gave me a chance to sing(however I didn't win the contest). But anyhow it gives air-conditioned classes to study without feeling any kind of burden. Faculties are good some are best. Hostel life is, as usual, best. Overall my college is a thing to boast about.
