Getting into St.Xavier's college,Kolkata is like getting into school after you have completed your school where discipline is a must with minimum 75% attendance and classes are regular and interactive unlike other colleges in India. The Administration provides their students with every facility for their overall development which includes Organising Seminars both by the students and celebrities ( for e.g; Arun Jaitley delivered his speech at College's auditorium and was an interactive session which was held this January ).Also providing fields for entertainment like hosting many Bollywood Actors and Yearly fest Xavotsav which is a awaited by students all over Kolkata.These events are mainly organised by the students of the college and there are different societies (formed by the students themselves for every department) which manage such events . Overall the college is free from any bureaucracy and red tapism and holds an Autonomous Status which adds much to the credibility of this great college.
