Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune is a private management institute established in the year 1978. SIBM Pune is a constituent institute of Symbiosis International University (SIU), Pune. The institute is accredited by NAAC with "A" grade. SIBM Pune offers 4 courses that include M.B.A, Executive M.B.A, M.B.A Innovation and Entrepreneurship and PGDBM programmes in various specialisations. It also offers online courses in the fields of Marketing Analytics, Design Thinking, Fundamentals of Management and Business Analytics & Digital Marketing. SIBM Pune has secured 17th rank under the management category in NIRF 2022 Rankings.

SIBM Pune has also completed M.B.A placements for the year 2022. SIBM Pune placements 2022 had an average salary package of Rs. 23.06 LPA and the highest package of Rs. 45.50 LPA. In the meantime, M.B.A students received the highest stipend of Rs. 3.50 lakhs per month during the Summer Internship Recruitment Programme 2021 for the 44th M.B.A Flagship batch of 2021-23. SIBM Pune Courses

SIBM Pune offers four full-time and part-time postgraduate programmes. SIBM Pune courses are offered in the management and business administration stream. SIBM Pune course list includes M.B.A, Executive M.B.A, M.B.A Innovation and Entrepreneurship and PGDBM. SIBM Pune fee structure for the M.B.A programme is Rs. 21.12 lakhs and Executive M.B.A is Rs. 6.60 lakhs.

SIBM Pune Admissions

SIBM Pune offers admission to PG-level courses. SIBM Pune admission to M.B.A and M.B.A Innovation and Entrepreneurship programme is based on Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test followed by  Group Exercise, Personal Interview and Written Ability Test (GE-PIWAT). The selection of candidates for admission to the Executive M.B.A programme is based on the eligibility criteria, followed by the performance in the personal interview conducted by SIBM Pune. SIBM Pune PGDBM admission is offered on the basis of an entrance exam followed by a personal interview conducted by SIBM Pune. Final admissions are done after verification of documents and payment of SIBM Pune admission fees.

SIBM Pune Cutoff

SIBM Pune releases the SIBM Pune cutoff for SNAP after the declaration of the SNAP result. Candidates who pass the SIBM Pune are called to further rounds of M.B.A admission selection. These rounds include Group Exercise (GE), Written Ability Test (WAT), and Personal Interview (PI).  The cutoff is determined by a variety of factors, including the number of candidates who apply, the difficulty level of the SNAP exam, applicable reservations, and more. 

SIBM Pune Placements

SIBM Pune successfully completed its campus recruitment programme for the MBA Flagship and MBA Leadership & Strategy batch of 2020-2022. More than 100 organisations from various industries, including Automotive, BFSI, Consulting, FMCG/FMCD, Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals, IT/ITES, and Manufacturing, participated in the SIBM Pune placement drive. The highest salary package in 2022 was Rs. 45.50 LPA, representing a significant increase of 49.77% over last year, while the average salary package was Rs. 23.06 LPA, representing 17.89% increase over last year. During the SIBM Pune placement drive 2021-22, a total of 97 students secured pre-placement offers.

SIBM Pune provides various infrastructural facilities for students and faculty members. SIBM Pune facilities include a central library that has a large collection of books, reports, journals, periodicals, CDs and video cassettes. The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled and has a fully air-conditioned computer centre with more than 140 computers and high-speed intranet leased line connectivity. SIBM Pune provides hostel accommodations for all of its residential programmes. The three hostel blocks (New, Old, and Annex) consist of separate hostels for boys and girls, with double, triple, and tetra-sharing rooms.

SIBM Pune facilities also include a 600-seater auditorium and a convention centre both equipped with the latest audio-visual technology. The institute has sports facilities for games like cricket, football, basketball, swimming pool, pool table, carrom and chess. It also has a gymnasium equipped with various training equipment as well as the services of a fitness instructor. Yoga facilities are also available, providing students with a refreshing break.
