Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies Pune has a placement cell that looks after all the placement-related activities. Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune placement cell organises various training programmes for the students such as workshops, mock tests and interviews, etc. SIMS Pune placement cell also provides summer internship opportunities to the students. Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune placement process starts from November/December. For selecting the junior batch, the summer projects process commences in October/November. Time slots are given to the recruiting companies to conduct the placement drive at the campus. Based on the given time slots, companies are invited to the campus by “Head – Placements and Corporate Relations, SIMS” to shortlist the students for a summer placement and final placements. Both national and multinational companies visit the campus to conduct the placement drive.
As per the SIMS Pune Placement data 2021 given on the official website, 91.3% of the students were placed in the first 3 months. The highest and the average CTC offered is Rs. 24 lakhs per annum and Rs. 11.98 lakhs per annum respectively. Some of the star companies that visited the campus are Accenture, Credit Suisse, Deloitte, Bridgeweave, Infosys, etc.

Without a doubt, Symbiosis is one of India's top management schools and is superior to Amity. Amity is excellent, but it cannot compete with Symbiosis. Even though Amity and Symbiosis are both private universities, getting into Symbiosis is far harder than getting into Amity, therefore if you have the chance, consider Symbiosis. Its facilities are unsurpassed and its infrastructure is enormous. Symbiosis offers a variety of specialisations for BBA students, some of which are at the level of MBA programmes. The placement rate is excellent; over 90% of the students are placed. A recent academic year's bundle is shown here. And businesses like KPMG, Zomato, Wipro, Amazon, DeltaX, TCS, and many more come to the campus.

- NMIMS is a well-known name in the area of management. Symbiosis is not a well-known brand in this industry.
- NMIMS is a more established institution than Symbiosis. It has more industry awareness as a consequence.
- The classrooms are well-equipped with projectors, quality seats, and air conditioners. The building's infrastructure, which includes elevators, courtrooms, conference rooms, an auditorium, etc. is excellent.
