Medical/Hospital
The current activities of the Tata Memorial Hospital and the level of eminence reached in its various spheres of expertise are worth recording. Nearly 64,000 patients visit the clinics annually not only from all over India but also from neighboring countries. Nearly 60% of these cancer patients receive primary care at the Hospital of which over 70% are treated free of any charges. Over 1300 patients attend the OPD daily for medical advice, comprehensive care or for follow-up treatment. The Hospital has expanded from an 80-bed Hospital covering an area of 15,363 sq. meters to a 629-beds spread over 53,890 sq. meters. Our Annual Budget was Rs.5 lacs in 1941 - today it runs close to Rs.200 crores. Nearly 18500 minor operations, 11500 major operations and 200 laser surgeries are performed annually. The robotic surgery was introduced in 2014 and since then 50 procedures have been performed. About 6200 patients are treated with Radiotherapy and Chemotherapy annually in multi-disciplinary programs delivering well-established treatments. Robotic surgeries were initiated in 2014.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for all the students.

The college has a canteen facility for all the staff and students.
Auditorium
The college has an auditorium facility for all the events and seminar.
Laboratories
The college has a departmental based laboratories facility for the students. Today, state-of-the-art equipment is available in every Department including the latest Spiral CT Scanners, Gamma Cameras, Ultrasound, Microscopes, Linear Accelerators, Simulators, Bone Marrow Transplantation facilities, ICU for critical care of patients, updated Operation Theatres, sophisticated Blood Bank facilities, and laboratories. We are in a position to render the high immunological, histochemical, technological level of biochemical, cytological and pathological services.
Guest Room/Waiting Room
The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
Boys Hostel
The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
Girls Hostel
The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

What is syllabus of entrance exam for msc in clinical research course conducted in Tata Memorial hospital

MSc clinical research is a post graduate degree which will be awarded by the Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) Deemed university.The course will be conducted at the Tata memorial Centre and will be followed by a mandatory one year internship at the Tata memorial Centre and its outreach centres.The course will commence from 1st October 2021.Selection will be based on the evaluation of performance in written test followed by interview.Only those candidates who score at least 50% marks in the written entrance exam are eligible to be called for interview.A fixed number of candidates (not exceeding 3 times the number of seats) be called for the interview from those who have scored 50% and above.Five candidate will be selected from the peripheral centres of TMC.The entrance exam will be conducted in mumbai and consists of multiple choice questions.The syllabus for the exam includes basic sciences, clinical research methods and general knowledge.
