Terna has a lavish library with a lot of books available for almost every course. There is a digital library also with good internet speed. Football Turf is available for sports. Turf is also the place first-year students do Yoga on Yoga Day especially. There are plenty of sports going on in college like cricket, football, badminton, Kho-Kho. Terna has its own dance crew also. Fests take place in month of March. Classrooms are also pretty okayish. Nowadays, the canteen is also getting improved.
Computer Branch teachers are very helpful. Teachers at Terna are well-qualified. In fact, few of the Professors are from IIT-B and other IITs also. Teachers are very friendly and help us grow throughout the journey of four years. The course for Computer Engineering designed by MU is out-dated and does not make you industry-ready. But, with the help of online courses and good teachers of Terna, you can gain a lot of advance technical skills and reduce the gap between college and industry.
Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Jio, Godrej and many more such top recruitment companies give the opportunity to students to crack the interview and get a high salary package. As in our college, there is an example of students with a salary package of 11 L.P.A, 12 L.P.A., 13 L.P.A, and an example of students with a salary package of 1.6 L.P.A, 3.5 L.P.A also. So, the company will recruit you for 15 L.P.A. also, if you have the ability to clear aptitude and interview with your skills.
Terna college has an entrepreneurship cell(E-cell). Till now, 3 of the startups are successfully incubated. Terna encourages students to develop a business mindset along with problem-solving skills. E-cell also organizes various Entrepreneurship awareness events and idea competitions for the betterment of Students.
There are various units like NSS, IEEE to give exposure to students in various fields. There are also various fests like Avalon, Resonance, and Antarang. Crowd is typically Maharashtrian in TEC. Few amazing things about TEC is an amazing Auditorium, good friends and tons of extracurricular activities.
Yes, my college is having the pretty required equipment and considering the laboratory stuff as well I can day that the laboratories are having almost every equipment. The infrastructure is quite good as well. Almost all the IT related labs are having proper internet connection with excellent speed and as I amin computer branch every computer system is having the most high tech SR. The living spaces are also clean too.
I am perusing Third year engineering in computer branch. I chose this branch because I was already into this field during my secondary education. The teaching faculty is very good and cooperative with the students and the teaching style is also good enough. Every branch is very much updated to the upcoming new concepts and are been added to the syllabus.
As per my concern the placement quality of the college is really very good because ample amount of companies are arriving with good packages. In computer branch if I am not wrong highest package was 6.5lakhs. The average package would be 2-3.5 lakhs. I don't know about the procedure but the quality of the placement is good as per my notice by the faculty. The college is very supportive in cade of placement because they want their students to get into quality and deserving companies.
My cost per year is 1.1 lakhs. The money I have been spending for my fees is quite worthy because I am getting all those facilities and all those qualities in the college which a standard college should have.
The campus area is big enough. Even there is a football turf where in you are playing or hangout. But the only fault that if it rains the corridor area becomes quite wet you can say.
Air Conditioned Labs, Campus-wide Wireless-Fedility, E-Classrooms, Sports Ground, Turf, Canteen, Excellent Library, Excellent Reading Hall, 4 Lifts, Hostels, Ponds, Hospital, Parking, Solar Powered Campus.
I am a Third Year Computer Engineering student. Teachers here are very polite and cover entire syllabus. Various activities are conducted in order to develop new skills. Several events are conducted throughout the year.
Almost every student gets placed from this college. Maximum package offered till now is 12 Lacs while average package is around 6 Lacs. Several companies visit every year and some offer bulk placements.
Infrastructure wise the college is great with a big campus which includes a 6 turfs. The college has hostels and a mini lake along with Terna Dental College. Classrooms for students of 2nd and 3rd year have digital boards which are cool. The canteen is quite large and provides good quality and decent food. Also, it has a huge library which occupies the 3rd and 4th floor.
Talking about academics, the faculty members are very helpful, especially in IT and Computer branches. Also around 3000+ books are available in the college library. Along with this, it has an EPIC centre for research purposes as well.
Terna Engineering college provides a lot of opportunities and platform to develop ourselves- be it technical function or cultural function of the college, you will have lessons for life. The placements are decent for comps and IT with package range offered in the range of 3- 8 LPA. Also, some students get up to 10lacs also. Companies like IBM, Teradata, Reliance Jio and many more big companies recruit students from the college.
The average fee of an engineering student is about 1 lakh and college also provides various scholarships to the students like EBC, Minority Scholarship, etc.
it has a decent crowd. It organises TPL(Terna Premiere League) which is very famous in Navi Mumbai. The college conducts a tech fest, a cultural fest and sport tech events separately which are participated in by students with great enthusiasm from both terniites and other college students.
Good aspects of the college the football turf, library, some of the labs are air conditioned, and also the basic workshop, helpful faculty. Bad aspects of the college: Canteen needs to improve, some of the faculty needs to change their teaching method. When it comes to the availability of books and journals, the library lacks a few important books, other than that they have most of the reference books in stock.
i opted for computer engineering because i'm interested in technology and its various aspects such as programming and software development. Teaching staffs are more concerned to make basics clear and also to make them ready for job interview.
Placement in this college is good enough, about 80% of the studets get placed in technical and non-technical field of work. You have to know some basic knowledge about your subject. But the overall package is good and try to clear every semester at once.
It depends upon the quota through which you have got this college, so will your fee structure will be presented to you accordingly.
The faculty is helpful, and the faculty:student ratio is totally acceptable as most the faculty is friendly with the students. Faculty is well qualified and but some of them need to change their way of teaching, other than that the faculty is okay. It is located right in front of the nerul railway station (west), takes about 5 minutes to reach by walk.
An engineering college with basic needs and good campus
College is built in a very spacious and green environment keeping a sense of peace around the eyes. Every class is well equipped with basic resources as well as additional facilities like WiFi, Digital Boards, Projectors, AC in labs, etc. Also a decent and satisfying living for college hostel within the campus, provided good quality of food in canteen as well as mess with flexible timings for students.
College comes under the Mumbai University, one of the well known institutions for the quality of education. The faculty is qualified, well knowledgeable and student friendly. Along with syllabus they have also covered topics important from industry point of view. They have always supported the students in need while have also acted tough while necessary to shape the students well for a disciplined future.
Minimum of 3 l.p.a. package is offered under Comps and IT branch. Taking a glance at the previous in campus recruiting records, companies like TCS, Infosys and many other well-known companies have been offering favorable jobs to the students. Also the college E-Cell tries best to attract more and more opportunities and approach more companies for the students.
The cost being an OBC student is around 55,000 p.a. and is worth it experiencing the quality education and other extra facilities like spacious library with massive collection of books related to the courses and sport facilities like turf and open ground.
The campus is full of various activities students can involve in like NSS, and academic committees like CSI which allows students to have a better exposure at other sources of industry related knowledge arranging various seminars and competitions.
A well-known and trusted institution you'll be happy to be a part of.
College has good infrastructure and facilities. Epic center and innovative lab are one of the best things. Labs require some improvements in terms of equipments. Library is good and have most of the required books but lacks some books and also issuing the books can be improved as each branch is assigned a particular day which simply not practical.
In the stream of Mechatronics the quality of teaching is good but the curriculum needs some updates in terms of recent developments. It is a mixture of different streams and has a lot of load but it is still great to learn different things from different streams.
Placement is average but the highest package offered was 8lacs. This was for both Mechatronics and IT department. Average salary offered is around 3 lacs in our branch. College has placement cell which helps and guides students about what they should do further after BE .
This course is satisfactory and I feel that, yes it is worth it.
Location of the college is great, very near to Nerul Railway station and has hospital in its premises. All types of students are present. Some teachers are great some require some improvements.
