UIET MDU Rohtak Admissions

Admissions at the institute are offered on the basis of scores of JEE Main (for B.Tech) and on the basis of scores of GATE (for M.Tech). As per the UIET MDU Rohtak admission criteria for the B.Tech programme, seats are allocated on the basis of merit scores of JEE Main during the HSTES counselling. Candidates have to score qualifying marks in GATE for the M.Tech programme admission. For University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Maharshi Dayanand University admission to the M.Tech programme, seats are allocated on the basis of merit scores of the entrance test. • Meet the eligibility criteria.

• Appear for GATE.

• Fill the MDU Rohtak application form.

• Shortlisting on the basis of merit scores of GATE.

• If GATE qualified candidates are not available, then remaining vacant seats are filled on the basis of merit of marks obtained in the entrance test, conducted by the university (for  M.Tech Computer Science & Engineering and M.Tech Software Engineering), or on the basis of merit of aggregate marks of qualifying degree (for other M.Tech courses).

UIET MDU Rohtak Cutoff

UIET MDU Rohtak cutoff is the minimum rank required by the candidates for admission to the B.Tech programme. The cutoff is released as opening and closing ranks. A number of factors like number of candidates appearing for the exam, number of seats available, difficulty level of the exam, etc affect the University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Maharshi Dayanand University cutoff. UIET MDU Rohtak Scholarships

The scholarships which students can avail at UIET MDU Rohtak are Post Matric Scholarship of Government of India (GOI) for SC Students, SCSP Scheme of Haryana Govt. for SC Students, Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for UG /PG Students, etc. These are the central and state government scholarships. Candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria in order to avail the scholarships. The scholarships amount awarded are in the form of exemption in tuition fees or cash amount, whichever is less. 

1. Post Matric Scholarship of Government of India (GOI) for SC Students- To avail the scholarship, candidates should have annual family income up to Rs. 2.5 lakhs. Under this scheme, tuition fees are exempted and other allowances are also provided.

2. SCSP Scheme of Haryana Govt. for SC Students- This scholarship is offered to the students admitted through Central Counselling conducted by HSCS with annual family income between Rs. 2.50 lakhs and Rs. 3.50 lakhs. Tuition fee or Rs. 40,000 whichever is less is offered under this scheme.

The training and placement cell of the institute helps in the placement of the final year students. Placement training is also provided to the students. UIET MDU Rohtak placement training involves guest lectures, industrial visits, personality development training, soft-skills training, group discussions and mock interviews.
