Have a question related to VIMS Bangalore ?

my neet score is 389 and I am from general category please suggest some good private medical colleges in Bangalore

    Hello Aspirant,

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the cut-offs keep on changing every year but yes we can provide you the list of colleges that you can get based on previous years cut-off data.

See on such marks you have very low or almost no chances to get any of the private medical colleges under state quota of Karnataka neither in Bangalore nor in any other city of Karnataka because even for private medical colleges the cut-off goes above 470 marks.

But on such score you can go for some Deemed Institutions through AIQ counselling, so as per the previous years data you can go for following deemed institutions through AIQ counselling :-

Institute of Medical Sciences and SUMH, Bhubaneswar

Sri Siddhartha Medical College DU, T Begur

BVDU Medical College and Hospital, Sangli

Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of previous year's cut-off and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.

To have a list of all those colleges which you can get based upon your marks, category, and state you can use NEET College Predictor because it will make you comfortable while choice filling in counselling :-

I hope this information helps you.

    Good Luck!!

can i get admission in a private medical college with 544 marks in neet ug

    Hi

Your profile suggests that your domicile state is bihar

As you have not mentioned your category I am assuming you from general category

It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get  seat or not as  cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

    Anyway,

when we go through previous data then

    >>>>> With 544 marks,

You have low chance for mbbs in a government college

    For example,

In Neet 2020, 577 marks was cut off marks for mbbs  seat in Government Medical College under bihar state quota for general category and it was for Government Medical College, Bettiah

You can check the same at

    https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-bihar

    But yes

You have chances for mbbs seat in private colleges in bihar which are listed below :-

    • Katihar Medical College, Katihar

    • Lord Budha Koshi Medical College and Hospital, Saharsa

    • Mata Gujari Memorial Medical College, Kishanganj

    And a few more

It's been predicted on the basis of past year data but  cutoff keeps changing every year  due to   many factors as mentioned earlier, so to have a clear picture of the colleges in   which you have to chances and

to get the complete list of colleges in which you have chances, you can go through our college predictor at

    https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?icn=QnA&ici=qna_answer

It gives you a personalized report with top college in which you have chances for admission , with the help of predicted colleges you can make better choice while filling your choices of colleges during your counselling

    Thankyou

what is the cutoff of these college

    Hello aspirant,

VIMC Bangalore cut-off is the minimum marks prescribed by the selection board for the admission of students. The merit list will be designed on these cutoff scores. Aspirants who apply for the Institute need to clear the cutoff for various classes:

    • Aspirants are required to acquire minimal qualifying percentile marks in the NEET entrance examination to be able to qualify for additional admission courses.
    • Candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC are required to acquire marks equal to at least the 40th percentile to be thought of for AIQ and state counseling courses.
    • Aspirants who belong to the UR class are required to score equal to at least the 50th percentile.
