Welcomgroup Graduate School of Hotel Administration placement cell offers assistance to its students in finding internships and placements. WGSHA Manipal provides numerous options in the field of hotel management at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Every year, four days before the final placements, WGSHA holds a workshop. In the workshop, students are taught about professional etiquette as well as the importance of team communication. Candidates have to complete a one-month vocational training programme in the first year, and a six-month internship programme in the third year. The stipend is entirely determined by the skills and number of working hours. During internships, students gain hands-on experience with a variety of live projects. The Hotel Management Institute assists with placement and provides global exposure. Students who complete this programme can work as chefs in hotels, restaurants, cruise ships or pursue higher education and research or start their own entrepreneurial venture.
