Helow, I have a GMAT score of 600 (Q45 ,V28) also have a work ex of 18 months in vedanta limited as assitant manager, Will i be able to get a call for XIMB HRM course if apply.

Aayushi Batra 25th Sep, 2019

Hi Deepak,

XIMB accepts GMAT scores in its admission procedure. The minimum score required is 550. In order for you to apply in this college you should have at least 550 score in GMAT. If you have cleared this cut off, then you will get a call for the further rounds of the admission process. You have scored 600 in GMAT which will help you get a call if you apply. Furthermore you have a work experience of 18 months as an Assistant Manager in Vedanta limited, this might help you and provide an edge over the others.

Besides GMAT, there are other exams that you can appear to for applying at XIMB. They accept scores of XAT/CAT/XGMT/NMAT. The minimum eligibility required for applying to XIMB is having a minimum 3 years Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent degree. At least 55% marks is required to be attained from a recognized university.

The further rounds include a Personal Interview, Written Ability Test and Group Discussion rounds. The final selection is done after considering the cumulative score of all the rounds and considering the profile of the candidate which includes work experience (if any) and past academic records.

Dear Suman, to start off, to be eligible for XIMB, BBSR, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 55%. The Institute will decide the section wise as well as total cut off marks which will be used for shortlisting the Candidates for Written Ability Test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Which college is better XIME Bangalore or XIMB for marketing

Sampriti Student Expert 18th Jul, 2019

If you are inclined towards marketing only then XIMB will be a better option. In every ways XIMB is better than XIME be it a course on business management or Human Resource. But the placements are good in both the colleges and you can get a decent average package of 8-10 lakhs from both the colleges.

Good luck

What is the nmat cut off for XIMB. I have got 193 as my nmat score. Sectional VA 67 Di 61 Qa 65. Any chances to get a call for HR program?

Shravan Hari 12th Feb, 2019

Hi Navya, generally the cutoffs are not fixed for any colleges. It varies every year based on a lot of factors like number of seats available, number of test takers and the difficulty of exam etc. But going by the past records, a minimum of 180+ is enough for HR program call for the next round. This year it might vary, but I think you are in safe zone and have high chances to be called up for the next rounds. All the best !!!
