In the war with diseases, pathologists are only people who can find out the nature of the disease, the cause of the disease and its capability of affecting the body. This information will help the doctors to formulate such a strategy which would help in killing the disease. In today's world, technological advancements in this field are helping the pathologists to find the necessary information, processing it and analysing it in a time-efficient manner. Some of the innovations which would help the pathologist would be –
The explosion of biomedical information- Since it is said that the information of the disease doubles every 73 days, diagnostic tools and genetic tests would help a pathologist in conducting their tests faster.
Expertpath and Immunoquery are two such cloud-based software which stores all the information.
The rise of precision medicine- The basic goal is to administer the right medicine to the right patient and at the right time. A pathologist would gather information about the disease and themselves correlate it to clinical information.
AI in healthcare- AI (Artificial Intelligence) would not take the place of a pathologist but in turn, help the pathologist in assisting the pathologist in making decisions about the disease.

Questions related to Pathology
can i open my own pathology after completing msc microbiology of two years
In response to your question, I would want to let you know that after earning your Msc in Microbiology, you CAN create your OWN pathology lab. After earning your three-year MSc in Microbiology, you can open your own diagnostic laboratory.
You must also buy or rent the property where the pathology lab will be located in order to start your own business. The equipment that serves as the foundation for your services will thereafter require your attention. Finally, you will require a sizable amount of operating capital to cover expenses like overhead and salary costs.
