WHAT IS ENTERPRISE JOURNALISM ?

This is a very specialised field of Journalism which involves producing stories developed through intense research, field sources and usage of other facts and data. Enterprise Journalism or reporting does not revolve around or evolve through press releases or conferences. Rather, a reporter is required to dig deep to bring out facts. Enterprise reporting often requires years of investigation to deliver the final story piece. The field is for those who are ambitious and can look outside the daily beat and normal breaking news cycles. Students will have to possess tremendous patience, a nose for news, out-of-the-box thinking skills and strong investigative abilities in order to build a career in this field. All of these qualities will be enhanced through a specialised course in Enterprise Journalism.
