CUSAT CAT 2024

Cochin University conducts Cochin University of Science and Technology Common Admission Test, commonly known as CUSAT CAT every year for admissions to UG and PG courses. It is a state level admission test conducted in online mode. 

After clearing the CUSAT CAT 2024 candidates will be offered admission to 29 participating institutes in UG and PG courses. Only those candidates who will fulfil the eligibility criteria of CUSAT 2024 will be admitted to these participating institutions.

CUSAT CAT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Cochin University will release the CUSAT CAT 2024 eligibility criteria on the official website. The eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT 2024 will be announced along with the CUSAT 2024 official information brochure.

All the candidates applying for the admission test require to meet the following eligibility criteria to get admission in their desired course offered by the University. If any candidate is found ineligible at any stage of admission, their candidate will be cancelled.

CUSAT CAT Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Mathematics and Physics as compulsory and Chemistry as optional subjects in their Class 12 th exam.

• Candidates should have secured at least 50% marks in Mathematics and overall 50% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

• Candidates belonging to the SEBC with non-creamy layer status of Kerala State will be considered under the reservation quota and would be required to have 45% in Mathematics alone and 45% aggregate in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

CUSAT CAT B.A. L.L.B Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT BA LLB 2024 before filling in the application form. The candidates are required to meet certain criteria as set by the university if they wish to take admission to BA LLB programme. Following criteria are to be met by the candidate:

• Candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent with at least 60% marks including languages in Science/Commerce Group or with at least 55% marks including languages in Arts/Humanities Stream
• Candidate belonging to the reserved categories will be required to have at least 50% marks in their 10+2
• Candidate applying for  CUSAT CAT BA LLB 2024 should not be more than 20 years (general category) and 22 years (SC/ST) category at the time of applying for the law entrance test.

CUSAT CAT L.L.B Eligibility Criteria

The aspiring candidates who are willing to take admission to the three year law programme in the University are advised to go through the eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT LLB 2024 before filling the application form online. The admission will be given to only those candidates who will meet the eligibility criteria as set by the University. Following parameters have been set by the university:

• Candidates should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks in their degree
• Candidates belonging to the reserved categories should have secured at least 45% aggregate marks in their degree
• There is no age bar to appear in CUSAT CAT LLB 2024 .

CUSAT CAT L.L.M Eligibility Criteria

The candidates seeking for the admission in the University will be required to meet the eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT LLM 2024. The admission will be provided to the candidates who are only eligible. Candidate must possess at least 55% marks in their Bachelor’s degree from any University in the State of Kerala or an any examination from any other University accepted by the Syndicate considered equivalent by the University.

CUSAT CAT M.C.A. Eligibility Criteria

The candidates will be required to meet the eligibility criteria of CUSAT CAT MCA 2024 to get the admission in the MCA degree programme offered by the University. Candidates must meet the following CUSAT CAT MCA 2024 eligibility criteria to qualify for the admission process.

• Candidates should have studied Mathematics as one of the compulsory subject in their 10+2 or equivalent.
• Candidates should be graduate student with a degree in any of these: Electronics / Computer Science / Computer Applications / Engineering / Technology.
• Candidates should have secured at least 55% aggregate marks in their graduation.
