sis according to u how much rank I may get if I score 110 in kcet and 96 percentage in telangana theory

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 14th Oct, 2019

Dear Naveen,\  if you scored 110 in KCET and 96% in your 10+2, by applying the formula {(%KCET+%PUC)/200}*100, you get your approximate rank. Considering all this, your theory score should be nothing less than 200-240 and your KCET score will be less than 2000. You need atleast a score of 155 to get into top 1000.

does theory marks required for kcet as I m studing in telangana

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 14th Oct, 2019

Dear Naveen, though you are studying your 12th in Telangana, because you have studied until 10th in Karnataka, you are eligible for KCET. By being eligible for their exam, you also will be included in their ranking system. Your 10+2 marks have 50% weightage in determining your KCET rank.  KCET is conducted for 180 marks and the subjects score is calculated for 3000. To Calculate the rank, your KCET score and 10+2 score out of 300 will be taken into consideration. For example, if you scored 100 in KCET and 200 in your 10+2, by applying the formula {(%KCET+%PUC)/200}*100, you get your approximate rank. Considering all this, your theory score should be nothing less than 200-240 and your KCET score should be more than 100.

how much important does theory marks are for kcet rank

Priyaanka Sarkar Student Expert 14th Oct, 2019

Dear Naveen, 50% of weightage is given to the Theoretical marks of your 10+2 if you are applying for Engineering stream. Marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are considered and given 50% weightage and the rest 50% weightage is given to you KCET score. Considering all this, PUC theory marks are considered important for your KCET rank.
