About KCET 2021
KCET 2021  KEA has started the KCET 2021 document verification from September 30. Applicants shortlisted on the basis of KCET 2021 result are eligible for the counselling process to be conducted from September 30 to October 28. Earlier, the exam authority has declared the Karnataka CET 2021 result on September 20 at kea.kar.nic.in. Applicants can check their KCET 2021 result through their registration number. Earlier, the authorities have extended the last date to enter Class 12th marks for KCET 2021 till September 18. Earlier, the authorities released the official answer key of KCET 2021 on September 1. Candidates were allowed to challenge the provisional KCET answer key from September 2 to 4.

The authorities will prepare a categorywise merit list on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the KCET 2021 and qualifying examination. The KCET 2021 counselling will be conducted in online mode before the end of October 2021 tentatively.
The authorities had also opened KCET 2021 form correction from September 1 to 5. Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) conducted the KCET 2021 exam offline as a pen and paperbased test on August 28. KCET 2021 admit card release date was August 12.

KCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
KCET B.Tech Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for admission to KCET B.Tech courses is given below:
 Candidates must be a citizen of India
 Candidates must have passed the 2nd PUC/Class 12/equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects
 Along with the compulsory subjects, candidates must have anyone optional subjects  Biology/Chemistry/BioTechnology/ Electronics/Computer Science with a language subject English
 There are no minimum marks needed for General and reserved categories.
NOTE: For admission to Government seats, candidates must fulfil any one of the eligible clauses as prescribed by KCET.
KCET B.Pharma Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility for admission to KCET B. Pharm courses is given below:
 Candidates must have qualified 2nd PUC or class 12th examination with PCM or PCB subjects.
 General candidates must have secured 45% aggregate while reserved categories i.e. CategoryI, OBC, and ST/SC should secure 40% to apply for KCET 2021
or
 Candidates must have passed Diploma in Pharmacy for a government approved and general candidates should have scored 45% while SC/ST categories and CategoryI and OBC (2A, 2B, 3A and 3B) must secure 40%.
NOTE: For admission to Government seats, candidates must fulfil any one of the eligible clauses as prescribed by KCET.
KCET B.Sc.(Hons) Agriculture Eligibility Criteria
For admission to KCET B.Sc. Hons. Agriculture, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria as prescribed by KEA. Candidates have to pass in 2nd PUC/Class 12th/equivalent exam from a recognized board along with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and an optional subject as Biology to be eligible for KCET 2021.
Candidates must fulfill any one of the eligible clauses as prescribed by KCET in case of admission to Government seats.

KCET Application Correction Facility The authorities had reopened the correction facility from September 1 to 5 for the candidates to modify details as per eligibility. Earlier it was open from August 2 to 5. Candidates could also change their exam centres during this correction window.
The application form of KCET 2021 was released online mode on June 15. The last date of application was July 20. Before filling the KCET application form 2021, candidates were advised to check the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the authority. Candidates were asked to keep all the required details such as valid email ID, phone number personal, contact and educational details etc ready before KCET Registration 2021. Steps to fill the application form is given below for reference:
1st Step KCET Registration – Candidates had to click “ New User? Click Here to Register” to start the online application process. All the required details had to be entered before clicking on the submit button. An application number and User ID was displayed on the screen and also sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number and email ID.
2nd Step: Enter login and personal details – Candidates had to enter login credentials (User ID and password) on the login page. After login, a student information page was displayed where candidates have to enter the details such as nationality, caste, category, academic, contact, previous KCET examination (if any), school details etc.
3rd Step: Uploading of Documents – They had to upload images of candidate's photograph, Left Hand Thumb Impression (LHT) and signature along with parents’ signature as per prescribed dimensions and size are necessary.

NOTE: Candidates had to take principal/gazetted officer’s signature and seal of their respective college board or equivalent and the original application form should be produced at the time of document verification during KCET counselling. Candidates were advised to keep safely 2 to 3 photocopies of the application form for future admission process.

KEA released the admit card of KCET in online mode on August 12 for appearing in the entrance test. To appear in the entrance test, candidates had to download the KCET admit card within prescribed dates. Mode of Counselling: Online, Offline
KEA has released the detailed document verification of KCET 2021 at the official website. KCET 2021 document verification will be conducted from September 30 to October 28. It must be noted that only two rounds of counselling and one round of extended counselling will be held for KCET 2021. No additional round of KCET 2021 counselling will be conducted. Students will be allowed to take counselling from the respective districts and do not have to visit Bengaluru for the same.
Candidates shortlisted on the basis of KCET result will be called to participate in the KCET counselling process. Candidates will have to register online in order to participate in the counselling of KCET 2021. The following steps will be involved in KCET counselling 2021.
Step 1  Document Verification and Registration Candidates will have to get their documents verified at the specified centres. Candidates will be given unique Id and password after successful verification.
Step 2  Choice Filling and Locking Next, candidates will have to log in to the system using the User Id and password. After login, candidates will have to fill their choices of institutes and courses. Candidates will be allowed to add, modify, delete choices. Candidates must lock their choices before the last date otherwise the system will automatically lock the choices. No changes can be made to the choices after locking.
Step 3  Allotment of Seats After this, the authorities will first release the mock seat allotment result of KCET 2021. Since the mock allotment is conducted to let the candidates know their chances of admissions based on their merit and preferred seats. The candidates will be able to change their choices after the mock allotment result is announced. Candidates will be able to check their allotment status in online mode by logging in using their CET number.
Step 4  Reporting at Allotted Institutes The candidates who will be allotted seats will have to report the allotted institute to confirm their seat and payment of admission fees.
The authorities have released the list of the centres at which special category documents are to be submitted. Candidates belonging to NCC, sports, defence, exdefence, scouts and guides, CAPF, exCAPF and AngloIndian categories must submit the documents within the specified period.
Along with the special category certificates, students should also submit the final printout of the application form and KCET 2021 hall ticket copy. Candidates claiming eligibility under NCC and SPORTS should also submit the photocopy of the study certificates as per the brochure issued by the head of the educational institution for having studied and passed the qualifying examination in the state of Karnataka.
Also, candidates claiming the benefit under various special categories should submit the relevant original special category certificates along with the two sets of copies compulsorily as per the schedule. Along with this, students should also three photocopies of their KCET 2021 admission tickets.
