About KMAT 2019
Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) will conduct Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT) 2019 tentatively in the first week of August. KMAT is held to admit candidates to more than 169 institutes offering MBA and MCA courses in Karnataka. KMAT was first conducted in the year 2003. To be eligible for KMAT 2019, candidates must have completed graduation with minimum aggregate of 50%. However, candidates opting MCA course must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 or during graduation. KMAT 2019 will be conducted online and will comprise objective-based questions from Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability and Logical Reasoning. After the conduct of exam, candidates securing equal to or more than the cutoff will be called for the selection procedure. Each participating institute will release individual cutoff and list of selected candidates. After KMAT selection procedure 2019, a final merit list will be prepared which will contain the names of shortlisted candidates.

KMAT 2019 Eligibility Criteria
KMAT M.B.A
As per the eligibility criteria prescribed by KPPGCA, candidates must have passed graduation (minimum 3 years)/ Master's degree from a recognised institute with minimum aggregate of 50%. SC/ST candidates will be given relaxation of 5%. Candidates from Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering/ Technology stream are eligible to apply.
KMAT M.C.A.
KPPGCA prescribes the eligibility criteria of KMAT 2019 required to be eligible for the exam. As per the eligibility criteria, candidates must have minimum aggregate of 50% in graduation. Additionally, candidates must also have studied mathematics at class 12 (10+2) or during Bachelor’s degree in order to be eligible for MCA.

Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) will release the application form of KMAT 2019 in the online mode. The application process will commence from the first week of June and is expected to end in the last week of July 2019. Candidates will have to make online payment of Rs. 800 to apply successfully for the exam. Before filling KMAT application form 2019, candidates must ensure that they qualify the eligibility criteria of the exam. The steps to fill out the application form have been provided below.

After registration, log in using application number and date of birth
Fill all required details including name, date of birth, domicile, gender, category, preferred course, etc.

KMAT 2019 Exam Pattern
The exam pattern of KMAT 2019 has been prescribed by KPPGCA. As per KMAT 2019 exam pattern 2019, the exam will be conducted offline (paper-pen based test) for a duration of two hours. The test will comprise 120 questions from three sections - Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability and Logical Reasoning. The complete KMAT 2019 exam pattern is given below.

KMAT 2019 Marking Scheme
For every correct answer, one mark will be awarded
No marks will be deducted for incorrect responses
Furthermore, candidates will be able to switch between different sections of the exam as sectional time division has not been allotted.
KMAT 2019 Admit Card
The admit card of KMAT 2019 will be issued online by KPPGCA. Candidates who have successfully applied for the exam will be able to download KMAT admit card 2019. The admit card will be released in the first week of August 2019. Candidates must download and print a copy of the admit card. After printing, candidates must paste passport sized photograph on the admit card. The photograph should be similar to the one provided in the application form. The hall ticket must be carried on the day of the exam failing which the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the exam. The KMAT 2019 admit card contains details such as name of candidate, photograph, signature, exam date, time and venue.

KMAT 2019 Result
Karnataka Private Post Graduate Colleges Association (KPPGCA) will declare KMAT result 2019 online in the third week of August. The result will be released in the form of scorecard which will consist of section-wise scores and overall percentile of candidates. After declaration of KMAT 2019 result, candidates must download and print a copy of the scorecard. Candidates must carry the scorecard with them on the day of selection process. Based on candidates’ performance, the cutoff will be released individually by each participating institute.
KMAT 2019 Cutoff
KMAT 2019 cutoff is the minimum score which must be secured by a candidate to be eligible to participate in the selection procedure. As the cutoff is released institute-wise, each participating institute is likely to have their own cutoff for both courses. On the basis of KMAT cutoff 2019, candidates will be shortlisted to take part in the selection procedure.
KMAT 2019 Selection Process
KMAT selection procedure 2019 will be conducted separately by each participating institute. The cutoff of each institute will differ as it is prepared individually. On the basis of institute-wise KMAT cutoff, candidates will be selected to participate in the selection process. As KMAT 2019 selection process is conducted individually by each institute, candidates will have to apply separately to each participating institute for a course so as to attend the selection procedure at the institute.
