Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Cell on behalf of the DTE for admissions to various programmes like B.Tech, B.Pharm, LLB, MBA, etc. The entrance test is a computer based test and is separate for each programme. Some admissions like medical, architecture (UG) are through NEET, NATA etc. Candidates who are eligible as per the criteria determined by the exam conducting authority have to fill the respective application forms in online mode and appear for the entrance exam. Candidates who qualify in the online examination are further called for the process of counselling where they are allotted a college according to their preferences and marks scored in the entrance examination of Maharashtra CET. Application forms are available at the respective exam portals that can be availed at cetcell.mahacet.org. Candidates must visit the offical website to choose their programme and find the details of the Maharashtra CET they have to apply for depending upon their eligibility.

While the entrance exam is through the entrance exam portal, admissions and counselling are through the admission portal which is again separate for each programme. Candidates who qualify in the respective entrance exam must check the official website for all applications for the same.

It is very important for all the candidates to meet the eligibility criteria determined by the exam conducting authority to appear in the MHT CET examination. MHT CET 2020 eligibility criteria is determined taking into consideration, the different categories, home state candidates and candidates belonging to states outside Maharashtra. MHT CET 2020 eligibility criteria includes eligibility related to age, marks scored by the students in the qualifying exam, number of attempts etc.
The eligibility criteria for each entrance exam is given in detail below
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Must have passed Higher Secondary with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical and Vocational subjects.
The minimum marks scored by the candidates together in Higher Secondary and MHT CET 2020 must be atleast 50% in case of general candidates and 45% in case of backward class, PDW and candidates of Maharashtra only.
Candidates who hold a diploma degree in Engineering and Technology with atleast 50% marks (general) and 45% in case of BC, PWD candidates, and candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only.
Have passed B.Sc with not less than 50% marks for general and 45% for BC, PWD and Maharashtra state candidates.
Candidates who wish to appear for the entrance exam of MHT CET 5 – years LLB program must be a citizen of India.
Candidates applying for MHT CET 3 – years LLB program must be a citizen of India.
The minimum marks obtained by the candidates in their graduations must be equal to or more than 45%.
Age: No upper age limit.
Candidates must be Indian
Must have passed HSC with Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one from maths or Biotechnology or Biology.
Candidates must have scored 50% for general and 45% for BC, PWD and Maharashtra state candidates together in HSC And MHT CET 2020.
Candidates who wish to apply for MH CET HM 2020 must check the eligibility criteria to fill the application form:
Candidates must be of Indian origin
All the candidates must have Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology with minimum of 50% marks from a recognized university. Candidates who have Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology can also apply.
Sponsored candidates – At least 2 years of full time work experience is required in an industry/registered firm or company.
MAH CET MBA eligibility criteria are given below. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling MAH CET MBA application form.
Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from Universities recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) and Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
The minimum percentage requirement in graduation is 50 percent while it is 45 percent for candidates belonging to backward categories and Persons with Disability of Maharashtra State Only.
Final year degree candidates who have appeared for the exam can also apply.
All candidates who are applying for MHT CET MCA must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% marks for the general category candidates and 45% for the candidates belonging to BC and PWD candidates of Maharashtra state only.
Must have studied Mathematics in standard 12 or in graduations.

The application form of MHT CET 2020 will be available in online mode tentatively from the first week of January to the final week of March. MH CET Law 2020 application form will be released tentatively in the final week of January for five year integrated LLB programme. The last date to fill the application form will be tentatively in the third week of March. The application form for MH CET Law 2020 for admissions to three year LLB programme will be released tentatively in the third week of February. Candidates must make sure that they fulfil the eligibility criteria before they fill the application form. Candidates must also keep ready with themselves scanned images of their signature and photograph in the format prescribed in the notification released by the exam conducting authority.

The exam pattern of MH CET is prescribed by The Directorate of Technical Education Maharashtra. It is essential for the candidates to go through the exam pattern as it will help them to prepare well. The exam is conducted in online mode and consists of objective questions based on Food Production, Food and Beverage Operation, English, Rooms division and questions related to hospitality industry. A total of 50 questions are asked each carrying two marks and there is no negative marking. Candidates are allotted 60 minutes to finish the exam.

MHT CET B.Tech exam will be conducted in online mode. DTE Maharashtra will issue the MAH CET 2020 admit card for different exams tentatively from the first week of March. Candidates will be able to download the admit card in online mode.
Admit card is issued to those candidates only who successfully fill the application form and pay the application fee. The admit card can be downloaded by entering the application number and password. The admit card contains details like name of the candidates, hall ticket number, date and time of the examination, exam centre details etc. Candidates must make sure that all the information reflected in the MAH CET admit card are correct. Appearing candidates must not forget to bring the admit card at the exam centre on the day of examination as candidates will not be allowed to appear for the examination without the admit card of MAH CET 2020.
The admit card for MHT CET will be available in online mode. Candidates who will successfully fill their applications forms will be able to login and download their MHT CET admit card.
MAH HM CET 2020 admit card will be released in online mode from May second week. Candidates can download the hall ticket of MAH HM CET 2020 by entering the registration number and password. Candidates must take the printout of the admit card and keep it safely. Students are required to paste their pictures on MAH HM CET admit card 2020 after downloading it. It is important to carry with them the admit card of MAH HM CET, along with a valid photo identity proof.
MHT CET 2020 result will be declared in online mode. Candidates will be able to download their score card with details of their percentile scores and performance in the exam. Candidates will be able to login by entering their name, mobile number, login ID and password
The result can be checked at mhtcet.org. Candidates are advised to download their score card and keep it for their reference till the admission process is completed.
MAH HM CET 2020 result will be declared in online mode in the first week of June. Candidates have to enter the requisite details such as the application number and the password to download the result. The MAH HM CET 2020 result will appear on the screen. The first step towards MHT CET Preparation is to understand the MHT CET Syllabus completely. As per the latest MHT CET Syllabus mentions that the questions will be application base. The MHT CET exam questions will be based on State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary education. 20% weightage will be given to standard XI curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to standard XII curriculum in the question paper of MH CET Exam. Candidates will have to answer questions from Physics, Maths, and Chemistry from the class XII syllabus.
