MHT CET application form 2020 is now available after Maharashtra State Common Entrance Cell has released it on January 7 in online mode. Last date to complete MHT CET registration is February 29. However, candidates can also fill the MHT CET 2020 application form with late fees of Rs 500 till March 7. The MHT CET 2020 exam dates are April 13 to 18 (excluding April 14) and April 20 to 23. The online common entrance tests are conducted by the State CET Cell on behalf of the Directorate of Technical Education for admissions to B.Tech, B.Pharm, LLB, MBA, etc. The MAHA MCA CET applications have started from January 15, 2020. Candidates must apply online to appear for the respective CET as per their eligibility before February 22, 2020. If they qualify in the online examination, they can participate in the Common Admission Process (CAP) which is the MAHA CET counselling for allotment of seats. Candidates before applying for MHT CET 2020, must check the detailed eligibility criteria specified by the authorities. Only candidate those who fulfil the eligibility criteria of MHT CET 2020 will be considered for admissions through the exams. The detailed eligibility criteria of MHT CET is given below:
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Must have passed Higher Secondary with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical and Vocational subjects.
The minimum marks scored by the candidates together in Higher Secondary and MHT CET 2020 must be atleast 50% in case of general candidates and 45% in case of backward class, PDW and candidates of Maharashtra only.
Candidates who hold a diploma degree in Engineering and Technology with atleast 50% marks (general) and 45% in case of BC, PWD candidates, and candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only.
Have passed B.Sc with not less than 50% marks for general and 45% for BC, PWD and Maharashtra state candidates.
Candidates who wish to appear for MHT CET Law entrance exam for 5 – years integrated LLB program must abide by the prescribed eligibility criteria.
Directorate of Higher Education(DHE), Maharashtra has prescribed some eligibility criteria for candidates going to appear in the entrance test for the 3-year LLB programme. Candidates are advised to read the detailed eligibility criteria before going to apply through MH CET application form.
MH CET Law eligibility criteria for 3-year LLB
Educational Qualification - Candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Further, candidates appearing in the qualifying exam (i.e, graduation final year) are also eligible to apply for 3-year LLB programmes through MH CET Law.
Minimum required marks - Candidates belonging to general category of Maharashtra and all category from other states are required to have passed their qualifying exam with a minimum of 45%, while the SC/ST candidates of Maharashtra must have completed their graduation with minimum 40% aggregate marks.
Age Limit - There is no age limit to appear in 3-year LLB entrance test under MH CET Law.
Candidates must be Indian
Must have passed HSC with Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one from maths or Biotechnology or Biology.
Candidates must have scored 50% for general and 45% for BC, PWD and Maharashtra state candidates together in HSC And MHT CET 2020.
