Maharashtra Common Entrance Test is conducted by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Cell on behalf of the DTE for admissions to various programmes like B.Tech, B.Pharm, LLB, MBA, etc. The entrance test is a computer based test and is separate for each programme. Some admissions like medical, architecture (UG) are through NEET, NATA etc. Candidates who are eligible as per the criteria determined by the exam conducting authority have to fill the respective application forms in online mode and appear for the entrance exam. Candidates who qualify in the online examination are further called for the process of counselling where they are allotted a college according to their preferences and marks scored in the entrance examination of Maharashtra CET. Candidates before applying for MHT CET 2020, must check the detailed eligibility criteria specified by the authorities. Only candidate those who fulfil the eligibility criteria of MHT CET 2020 will be considered for admissions through the exams. The detailed eligibility criteria of MHT CET is given below:
Candidate must be a citizen of India.
Must have passed Higher Secondary with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical and Vocational subjects.
The minimum marks scored by the candidates together in Higher Secondary and MHT CET 2020 must be atleast 50% in case of general candidates and 45% in case of backward class, PDW and candidates of Maharashtra only.
Candidates who hold a diploma degree in Engineering and Technology with atleast 50% marks (general) and 45% in case of BC, PWD candidates, and candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only.
Have passed B.Sc with not less than 50% marks for general and 45% for BC, PWD and Maharashtra state candidates.
Candidates who wish to appear for MHT CET Law entrance exam for 5 – years integrated LLB program must abide by the prescribed eligibility criteria.
Directorate of Higher Education(DHE), Maharashtra has prescribed some eligibility criteria for candidates going to appear in the entrance test for the 3-year LLB programme. Candidates are advised to read the detailed eligibility criteria before going to apply through MH CET application form.
MH CET Law eligibility criteria for 3-year LLB
Educational Qualification - Candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Further, candidates appearing in the qualifying exam (i.e, graduation final year) are also eligible to apply for 3-year LLB programmes through MH CET Law.
Minimum required marks - Candidates belonging to general category of Maharashtra and all category from other states are required to have passed their qualifying exam with a minimum of 45%, while the SC/ST candidates of Maharashtra must have completed their graduation with minimum 40% aggregate marks.
Age Limit - There is no age limit to appear in 3-year LLB entrance test under MH CET Law.
Candidates must be Indian
Must have passed HSC with Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects along with any one from maths or Biotechnology or Biology.
Candidates must have scored 50% for general and 45% for BC, PWD and Maharashtra state candidates together in HSC And MHT CET 2020.
Candidates who wish to apply for MAH HM CET 2020 must check the eligibility criteria to fill the application form:
Candidates who belong to general category should have cleared HSC exam or its equivalent and scored at least 45% marks in aggregate.
Aspirants who fall in PwD category and have domicile of Maharashtra should have passed HSC exam or its equivalent and scored at least 40% marks in aggregate.
People who belong to backward class need to score at least 40% marks in aggregate

MAH CET MBA eligibility criteria are given below. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling MAH CET MBA application form.
Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from Universities recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) and Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
The minimum percentage requirement in graduation is 50 percent while it is 45 percent for candidates belonging to backward categories and Persons with Disability of Maharashtra State Only.
Final year degree candidates who have appeared for the exam can also apply.
All candidates who are applying for MHT CET MCA must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% for candidates belonging to BC and PWD candidates of Maharashtra state only.
