About MAHACET 2020

MHT CET application form 2020 is now available after Maharashtra State Common Entrance Cell has released it on January 7 in online mode. Last date to complete MHT CET registration is February 29. However, candidates can also fill the MHT CET 2020 application form with late fees of Rs 500 till March 7. The MHT CET 2020 exam dates are April 13 to 17 and April 20 to 23.  The online common entrance tests are conducted by the State CET Cell on behalf of the Directorate of Technical Education for admissions to B.Tech, B.Pharm, LLB, MBA, etc. The MAHA MCA CET applications have started from January 15, 2020. Candidates must apply online to appear for the respective CET as per their eligibility before February 22, 2020. If they qualify in the online examination, they can participate in the Common Admission Process (CAP) which is the MAHA CET counselling for allotment of seats. Application forms can be availed at cetcell.mahacet.org during the respective stipulated period.

MAHACET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

MAHACET MHT-CET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates before applying for MHT CET 2020, must check the detailed eligibility criteria specified by the authorities. Only candidate those who fulfil the eligibility criteria of MHT CET 2020 will be considered  for admissions through the exams. The detailed eligibility criteria of MHT CET is given below:

Eligibility Criteria: 

  • Candidate must be a citizen of India.       

  • Must have passed Higher Secondary with Maths and Physics as compulsory subjects along with  any one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Technical and Vocational subjects.   

  • The minimum marks scored by the candidates together in Higher Secondary and MHT CET 2020 must be atleast 50% in case of general candidates and 45% in case of backward class, PDW and candidates of Maharashtra only. 

  • Candidates who hold a diploma degree in Engineering and Technology with atleast 50% marks (general) and 45% in case of BC, PWD candidates, and candidates belonging to Maharashtra state only.

  • Have passed B.Sc with not less than 50% marks for general and 45% for BC, PWD and Maharashtra state candidates.

MAHACET MAH-LL.B (5 years) CET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to appear for MHT CET Law entrance exam for  5 – years integrated LLB program must abide by the prescribed eligibility criteria.

  • Candidate should have passed senior secondary from a recognized board. Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply for MH CET Law.
  • The minimum marks scored by the candidates in the qualifying exam must not be less than 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates and 42% for candidates belonging to VJNT, SBC and OBC categories).
  • Age: There is no upper age limit to appear in MHT CET Law.

MAHACET MAH-LL.B (3 years) CET Eligibility Criteria

Directorate of Higher Education(DHE), Maharashtra has prescribed some eligibility criteria for candidates going to appear in the entrance test for the 3-year LLB programme.  Candidates are advised to read the detailed eligibility criteria before going to apply through MH CET application form. 

MH CET Law eligibility criteria for 3-year LLB

Educational Qualification - Candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Further, candidates appearing in the qualifying exam (i.e, graduation final year) are also eligible to apply for 3-year LLB programmes through MH CET Law.

Minimum required marks - Candidates belonging to general category of Maharashtra and all category from other states are required to have passed their qualifying exam with a minimum of 45%, while the SC/ST candidates of Maharashtra must have completed their graduation with minimum 40% aggregate marks.

Age Limit - There is no age limit to appear in 3-year LLB entrance test under MH CET Law.

MAHACET MAH-AAC CET Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must be Indian

  • Must have passed HSC with Chemistry and Physics as compulsory subjects  along with any one from maths or Biotechnology or Biology.   

  • Candidates must have scored 50% for general and 45% for BC, PWD and Maharashtra state candidates together in HSC And MHT CET 2020.



MAHACET MAH-B.HMCT CET Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who wish to apply for MAH HM CET 2020 must check the eligibility criteria to fill the application form: 

  • Candidates who belong to general  category should have cleared HSC exam or its equivalent and scored at least 45% marks in aggregate.

  • Aspirants who fall in PwD category and have domicile of Maharashtra should have passed HSC exam or its equivalent and scored at least 40% marks in aggregate.

  • People who belong to backward class need to score at least 40% marks in aggregate

Note - Candidates who will be appearing in the qualifying exam on exam year, they will also be eligible to appear for MAH HM CET 2020

MAHACET MAH-MBA/MMS CET Eligibility Criteria

MAH CET MBA eligibility criteria are given below. Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before filling MAH CET MBA application form. 

Qualification 

Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from Universities recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC) and Association of Indian Universities (AIU) 

Qualifying marks

  • The minimum percentage requirement in graduation is 50 percent while it is 45 percent for candidates belonging to backward categories and Persons with Disability of Maharashtra State Only.

  •  Final year degree candidates who have appeared for the exam can also apply.

MAHACET MAH-MCA CET Eligibility Criteria

  •  Candidates must be citizens of India. 
  • All candidates who are applying for MHT CET MCA must hold a graduation degree from a recognized university with not less than 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% for candidates belonging to BC and PWD candidates of Maharashtra state only. 

  • Must have studied Mathematics in standard 12 or in graduations.   

  • All those candidates who are in the final year of their graduations can also apply for the entrance test of MHT CET MCA 2020.

MAHACET MHT-CET Application Details

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has released MHT CET application form on January 7 in online mode. Candidates who wish to participate in the examination and admission process will be required to submit the filled application form last by February 29 and with late fees, up to March 7, 2020. The application process consists of steps such as registration, filling of application form, uploading of documents, fee payment and printing of the form. Steps to fill MHT CET 2020 Application Form

Registration - Firstly, the candidates will have to register for MHT CET 2020. Candidates will have to enter details such as email ID, Mobile number, name, date of birth, gender, username and password to complete the MHT CET registration. 

Filling of MHT CET Application Form - Once the registration of MHT CET is complete, candidates will have to log in and fill the application form of MHT CET with contact, qualifying exam and other details. The preferred exam subjects, language, facilities and district preferences also have to be submitted.

Uploading of Images - The scanned images of the candidate's photograph and signature as well as a valid photo ID as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities has to be uploaded.

Fee Payment - Candidates will be able to pay the application fee through online (credit card/debit card/IMPS/netbanking/cash cards/mobile wallets) only.

Print Out of Application Form - Finally, the candidates will have to take a print out of the submitted application form for future use.

MAHACET MAH-LL.B (5 years) CET Application Details

Admission authorities will release the online applications for admission to the 5-year program on January 20; last date to submit completed applications is March 2. Candidates who successfully fill the MH CET law application form for the program will be issued admit cards for the entrance exam. As part of the application filling process, the candidate is required to register, fill in essential details, upload documents, and also pay the fee; the application sequence is described below:

MAHACET MAH-LL.B (3 years) CET Application Details

Candidates desirous of admission to 3-year LLB course should duly fill and submit the MH CET law 2020 application form. Online applications for the 3-year program will commence on March 19, 2020 and can be filled until May 6. When filling the MH CET law application form, one needs to use only genuine and verifiable data, as otherwise candidature of the candidate may be cancelled. 

Steps to fill MH CET law 2020 application form:

  • Registration - In this step, candidate has to enter name, email id, phone number, and other essential details to get registered and create a candidate account.
  • Filling of application form - In this step personal, academic (including qualifying exam details), and contact  will have to be furnished.
  • Uploading of documents - Next upload scanned images of photo and signature in the prescribed format have to be uploaded. 
  • Payment of application fee - Finally pay the application fee to complete the application process.

MAHACET MAH-B.HMCT CET Application Details

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will release the application form of MAH HM CET 2020 in online mode in third week of February and the last date to fill the same will be fourth week of April. The fee for the MAH HM CET application form 2020 is Rs 800 for candidates belonging to the general category while those who are from the reserved category have to pay Rs 600. Candidates have to  pay the fees in online mode - debit card, credit card, cash cards or mobile wallets.

MAHACET MAH-MBA/MMS CET Application Details

The application form of MAH CET 2020 for MBA/MMS is available in online mode from January 10 and the last date of submission is February 15. Firstly, applicants have to register by entering a valid e-mail ID and generate a unique password. 

After the process of registration, they are required to re-login and fill all the required details on the form. State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, the conducting body do not accept offline application form and fee sent through post/courier or for that matter, any other mode besides online submission of MAH CET application form.

MAHACET MAH-MCA CET Application Details

The authorities release application form of MAH MCA CET 2020 in online mode to be duly filled by aspirants. Candidates need to have a valid, personal email ID and phone number for registration. This email account and phone number has to be kept active at least till the end of the MAH MCA admission process. On successful registration, a provisional registration number and a unique password is generated which displays on the login screen. These credentials are not sent to the candidate via email and SMS. Candidates should provide correct personal, academic and contact details. While filling the MAH MCA CET application form, candidates can always go back to rectify their mistakes, if any. Only after ensuring that all the information provided is correct, candidates should click the ‘Final Submit’ button. 

Application Fee: The application fee of MAH MCA CET can be paid online via Credit Card/ Debit Card (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), IMPS, Internet Banking, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets for which the service charges, as per rules, shall be applicable in addition to the fee. The amount to be charged as MAH MCA CET application fee is non-refundable in nature.

State Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra has issued the exam pattern of MHT CET 2020 where in students can find the details of the exam like type of questions, marking scheme, duration of exam etc. The detailed MHT CET exam pattern 2020 is as follows:

  • The exam will be conducted in online mode.   
  • MHT  CET 2020 will be conducted for papers – the paper I for mathematics, II for chemistry and physics and paper III for Biology.   

  • The exam will be conducted for 1 hour 30 minutes. 

  • The total marks for allotted for each paper is 100 marks.

MAHACET MAH-LL.B (5 years) CET Exam Pattern

Candidates must go through the exam pattern of MHT CET for 5-years LLB programme to get an overview of the entrance test. MH CET Law exam pattern for 5-year integrated LLB intimates about the type of questions to be asked in the entrance test, mode of conduct, exam duration, marking scheme and other important information related to the exam. 

The exam pattern of MHT CET for 5-years integrated LLB is explained below.

  • The entrance test for 5-year LLB will be conducted in online, computer-based test (CBT) mode with Marathi and English as the medium of language. 
  • The test paper will be comprised of 150 MCQs each carrying 1 mark. further, there will be no negative marking for incorrectly answered questions.
  • Candidates will be given 120 minutes to attempt the test paper.

MAHACET MAH-LL.B (3 years) CET Exam Pattern

Candidates going to appear in MH CET Law must be aware of the exam pattern prescribed by the conducting body. The exam pattern deals with all the aspects related to the conduct of exam and test scheme such as mode of conduct, question type, exam duration, marking scheme and other exam related details. The exam pattern of MH CET law for 3-year LLB is given below.

  • The entrance test for 3-year LLB is conducted in online, computer-based test mode.
  • There will be an objective type test paper consisting of 150 questions

To download MH CET law result, candidates should follow the steps mentioned below.

  • Visit the CET Cell website, and click on 3-year LLB.

MAHACET MAH-MCA CET Result

Those candidates who successfully appear in MAH MCA CET exam on the stipulated date will receive the result in online mode as and when announced by the authorities. Candidates will be able to download their MAH MCA CET scorecard by entering their login credentials. Candidates are not sent the admit card personally, thus, candidates have to access the same online only. The same is usually shared in the form of a merit list which makes it easy to access. The qualified candidates have to proceed with the counselling process for admission.

MAHACET 2020 Counselling

MAHACET MHT-CET Counselling

State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra will conduct the counselling of MHT CET 2020 in online mode. During the counselling, the candidates will be allotted seats through a Centralized Allotment Process (CAP). Three rounds of counselling will be conducted by the authorities. The counselling process will consist of the following steps:

Step 1 - Registration: Firstly, the candidates will have to register through the official website. Personal, contact and category details have to be provided and a security question has to be selected and answered. Candidates will also have to create a password.

Step 2 - Qualifying Details: Next, the candidates will have to provide their 10th and 12th standard subject wise and total scores. Details about MHT CET 2020 exam also has to be entered.

Step 3 - Uploading of Scanned Images: Photograph and signature as per the specifications mentioned by the authorities have to be uploaded.

Step 4 - Payment of Counselling Fee: The candidates who did not register for MHT CET 2020 will have to pay the counselling fee in online mode.   

Step 5 - Print out of Counselling Form: Candidates will have to print out the counselling form and take it to their designated Facilitation Centres for verification.

Step 6 - Reporting at Facilitation Centres: Original and photocopies of the documents have to be submitted for verification at the facilitation centres.

Step 7 - Choice Filling: Verified candidates will have to select their preferred courses and colleges. 

Step 9 - Merit List: The names of the shortlisted candidates will be present in the merit list. Provisional and final merit list will be released by the authorities.

Candidates will be allotted seats according to their merit, preferences, category and availability of seats. The selected candidates will have to download their allotment letter and report to their nearest admission reporting centres to practice any of these options - freeze, float or slide. Finally, the candidates will have to report to their allotted institute to confirm their admission.

Yes, there us reservation in MHT CET for Wards of Defence Personnel.Candautes from that category can enjoy as 5% reservation but for that you must have documents for proof and you should have qualified the HSC examination from a school or college in Maharashtra state.

Yes, you can get admission in COEP through MHT-CET. The exam can be given by the students all over the India. 85% seats are reserved for Maharashtra students and 15% seats for other students. You need to score really well to secure a seat.
