The registration of PESSAT 2021 commenced on December 20, 2020. Candidates can apply for the PESSAT 2021 exam till the May. Before filling the PESSAT application form 2021, the candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria. PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT) is conducted for admission into various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by PES University. The courses offered by PES University for which PESSAT 2021 score will be accepted are B.Tech., B.Des, B.Arch, B.Com, BBA, BBA LLB, B.Pharm, MBA, M.Tech, M.Com, M.Pharm, and MCA. Registered candidates are required to complete the slot booking process to generate PESSAT 2021 admit card.

The PESSAT syllabus varies from course to course. The entrance exam will be conducted in June 2021 . PESSAT 2021 result for all courses will be released after the conclusion of the test in online mode. i.e. last week of June 2021. PESSAT B.Tech Eligibility Criteria

As per the PESSAT eligibility criteria 2021, candidates seeking admission to B.Tech programme must pass Class 12 or equivalent with an aggregate score of 60% from a recognized board. In addition, it is mandatory to pass Class 12 from the science stream to be considered eligible for PESSAT 2021.

PESSAT B.Des Eligibility Criteria

In order to take admission to the B.Des course, candidates appearing for PESSAT 2021 must have passed Class 12. PESSAT eligibility criteria 2021 state that a candidate must score at least 50% in the qualifying examination. Furthermore, Class 12 or its equivalent should be completed from a recognized board. 

PESSAT B.B.A Eligibility Criteria

In order to be considered eligible for PESSAT 2021 to pursue a BBA course, candidates must pass the Class 12 examination or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. There are no requirements of a particular stream in Class 12 to be deemed eligible for the BBA course through PESSAT 2021.

PESSAT B.B.A L.L.B Eligibility Criteria

Candidates taking PESSAT 2021 to pursue BBA LLB must qualify for Class 12 or any other exam which is equivalent to Class 12 exams. For general category candidates, a minimum score of 45% of total marks in Class 12 or an equivalent examination is required as per PESSAT eligibility criteria 2021.

 Candidates belonging to SC/ST category need a minimum of 40% in aggregate. Candidates must note that if the minimum required score is 44.5% and above then it will be treated as 45% and a score of 39.5% or above will be treated as 40%.  

PESSAT M.B.A Eligibility Criteria

To fulfil the PESSAT eligibility criteria 2021 for MBA course, candidates must check the following requirements-

• Candidates seeking admission to MBA must complete a graduate degree with at least an aggregate score of 60%.
• As per the PESSAT 2021 eligibility criteria, it must be ensured by the aspirants, that the graduate degree should not be obtained from the distance or correspondence mode of education.

PESSAT M.C.A. Eligibility Criteria

As per eligibility criteria, for PESSAT 2021 to pursue MCA, a candidate needs to hold a Bachelor’s degree. The degree should be obtained from a recognised University to fulfil the PESSAT eligibility criteria 2021.  

PESSAT M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who are going to apply for the M.Tech course need to check the eligibility criteria od PESSAT M.Tech eligibility criteria carefully. If any candidate found ineligible at any stage of the admission process, the candidature will be cancelled. 

• He/She should have secured at least 60% in Engineering degree in a relevant stream from a recognized University. 
• Test Scores in PESSAT, PGCET, or GATE accepted.

PES University has released a common PESSAT application form 2021 for B.Tech, B.Des, BBA, BBA-HEM, LLB, M.Tech, MBA, MCA and M.Com programmes. It must be noted that to apply for multiple courses, a different email id has to be used every time.

How to fill PESSAT 2021 application form:

The candidates will be required to go through the following steps while filling the application form of PESSAT,

• Registration- In this step, candidates will be asked to select the course and enter details like name, gender, date of birth, and email id. After submission of these details, click on the ‘Submit’ button and then confirm.   

• Fill the PESSAT 2021 application form- After registration, candidates will be required to fill parents details, permanent address, marks in the qualifying examination, branch in which the admission is sought (only for candidates seeking admission to B.Tech courses), choice of exam centres to fill the application form.     
• Upload documents- The photograph and signature must be uploaded in this step of PESSAT application form 2021.
• Pay application fee- Candidates will now be asked to submit the requisite application fee through the online or offline medium.
• Take a printout- After successful submission of the registration fee and details, candidates can take a printout of the application form.

PESSAT B.Tech Exam Pattern

PESSAT 2021 for B.Tech programmes will have 180 questions. Candidates will get a total of 3 hours to answer questions in the exam. The question paper of PESSAT 2021 for B.Tech will comprise two sections – Section 1 and Section 2. Section 1 will have questions from three subjects namely Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics.

As per the PESSAT exam pattern 2021, the questions asked in section 1 will be of Classes 11 and 12 standard. Section 2 will have questions from English Grammar.

PESSAT B.Des Exam Pattern

The entrance exam for the B.Des course will be conducted for a duration of 2 hours. PESSAT 2021 for B.Des also known as Design Aptitude Test (DAT) will be held in pen and paper mode. Candidates will be required to carry their own pencils, sketches, and an eraser at the time of the exam. If a candidate has done any creative work, then a portfolio of the same needs to be brought at the time of the PESSAT/DAT exam. 

The question paper of PESSAT 2021 for B.Des will contain questions from subjects like General Knowledge, Basic Knowledge of Colours and Form, Spatial Sense, Sensitivity to Aspects of Typography, 3D Visualisation, Ability of Visualise/Imagine, Interpreting Natural Laws and Basic Engineering, Free-Hand Sketching, Basic Analytical Ability, and Basic English.

PESSAT B.B.A Exam Pattern

PESSAT 2021 for the BBA course will be held for a duration of 2 hours. Question paper for the BBA course will contain three sections- English Comprehension/Verbal Ability, Quantitative Reasoning, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. The total number of questions in PESSAT 2021 for BBA will be 120. The section-wise distribution of questions is given below-

PESSAT B.B.A L.L.B Exam Pattern

PESSAT for BBA LLB will be conducted for 2 hours (120 minutes). As per the PESSAT exam pattern 2021, the question paper will consist of four sections. These four sections will comprise 110 questions. The sections from which questions will be asked in PESSAT are Basic Law, Quantitative Reasoning, English Comprehensive/Verbal Ability, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning. PESSAT M.Com Exam Pattern 2021

Candidates will be able to download the admit card of PESSAT 2021 after the completion of the slot booking process. The admit card comprises of important details such as exam candidate's name, date of birth, centre venue, date, time, and much more. It is important for the candidates to take a print out the PESSAT admit card 2021 and keep it safe. Without a valid admit card, candidates will not be allowed to enter in the exam centre.

How to download the PESSAT 2021 admit card:

• Go to the official website.
• Complete the slot booking process.
• After the PESSAT slot booking is made, the admit card will be generated.
• Check the admit card clearly for any discrepancies.
• Download the PESSAT 2021 admit card and take a printout for future use.

PES University will release the PESSAT 2021 result online mode. Candidates can now access the result at pessat.com. To check the result, candidates have to log in using their registration/ application number and date of birth. The steps to download the result is mentioned below.

• Visit the official website
• Click on the result link
• Enter registration/application number and date of birth
• Click on ‘Submit’
• PESSAT 2021 result will be displayed on the screen.
• Download the result and take a print out of it.

The counselling process will be conducted offline mode in June tentatively. To participate in PESSAT counselling 2021, only the marks obtained in the aptitude test will be considered. Candidates will have to report to the venue according to the respective timings specified by the exam authorities. 

Registration for the counselling process has to be done by the candidates by using their registration number and date of birth. During PESSAT counselling 2021, they will have to select their choice of course as per the order of preference. Candidates are advised to choose as many choices as possible to increase their chances of admission.

In case, a candidate is unable to report to the allotted centre then an authorised representative can participate in the counselling process. The representative must hold an authorization letter which should be approved (with seal and sign) by the authorities concerned. Candidates will be required to opt for specialization at the time of PESSAT counselling 2021.

PESSAT 2021 Seat Allotment Process:

The seat allotment of PESSAT will be done as per the rank, preferences and seat availability. The allotted candidates will have to choose any one option from the four option.

Option I: He/She is satisfied with his/her allocated seat. After choosing this option, They have to submit the Demand Draft (DD) and original documents.

Option II: If the candidates want to confirm their admission but do not have the original documents. Then, they have to submit Demand Drafts and attested copies of original documents. If the original documents are not submitted within the specified time, the admission will be cancelled.

Option III: If the candidates want to decline the allotted seat.

Option IV: If He/She wants to refuse the allotted seat and participate in round 2 of counselling.

PESSAT B.Des GD and PI Process

After taking PESSAT 2021 for B.Des, candidates will be required to take a personal interview. The interview will be held at the Department of Architecture and Design of PES University. Candidates will be analyzed on the basis of their performance in the PESSAT 2021 and interview. The score of both the test and interview will be intimated within three days via email and SMS. The result will clarify whether candidates are eligible for the further admission process.
