Symbiosis Entrance Test 2023 - Symbiosis International University announced SET result in online mode on May 24. Candidates appearing for the SET 2023 test 2 had to carry the admit card on the day of the exam. SITEEE admit card 2023 for test 2 was available online at the official website, set-test.org. The duration of SET 2023 entrance test was 60 minutes. The SET exam paper 2023 had questions from different sections like general awareness, quantitative aptitude, general English, and analytical and logical reasoning. The SET 2023 entrance test also includes a written ability test. 

The authority conducted the SITEEE 2023 entrance test for Phase 1 on May 6. Candidates had to carry the SET admit card 2023 to the exam centre. The SET exam 2023 admit card was issued on April 25 for SET Test 1. Candidates who have filled out the SET application form were able to download the SET admit card 2023 by using their login credentials.

To fill out the SET 2023 application form applicants needed to visit the official website of Symbiosis International University and register themselves with a valid email ID and phone number. Admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the university will be done through the Symbiosis entrance test 2023.

What is SET?
Held by Symbiosis International University (Deemed University), Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is an entrance test for admissions to undergraduate programmes offered by 12 institutes affiliated to the university. SET Test is an online mode exam for various UG courses such as BBA, BA, BCA, and BSc Hons, whereas Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is conducted for law programmes while SIT Engineering Entrance Exam (SITEEE) is held for admission to B.Tech programmes.

The application process of SET 2023 concluded at the official website - set-test.org on April 16. It is to be noted that candidates must pay the programme fee of Rs 1000 separately for admissions in addition to the application fee of SET exam 2023. Following are the steps to apply for the SET 2023 entrance test.

Step 1: Register online for SET 2023. The user ID and password will be generated. 

Step 2: Fill all details in the form including personal, educational, communication details, three choices of exam centres, choices of courses/ institutes and book the slots. One can apply for up to two exams (one from the morning shift and one from the evening).

Step 3: Upload scanned copies of recent passport sized photograph (not be more than 3 months old ) and signature of the specified size.

Step 4: Pay the application fee of Rs. 1950 (Rs. 3500 in case of two exams). Payment can be made online through Easebuss Payment Gateway, Billdesk Gateway, and Indian Bank Gateway or offline via Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune (through a nationalized bank). Fee for SITEEE is Rs 2000 inclusive of the programme fee.

Step 5: In case of offline payment, students have to take a printout of the payment advice form available in the registration portal, fill in the details of DD, sign it and send it along with the DD to Symbiosis Test Secretariat, Symbiosis International (Deemed University), Gram: Lavale, Tal: Mulshi, Dist.: Pune – 412115

How to make corrections in SET application form 2023?

1. Go to the "Existing User" tabon the SET exam official website
2. Login by entering the SET ID/ Email ID and password
3. Make the necessary corrections in the application form and save.

Students are allowed to make changes in SET application form 2023 (except exam city preference and admission category) until the deadline.

Candidates are advised to check the SET exam pattern 2023 before preparing for the Symbiosis entrance test. • SET General is a qualifying phase. So, in effect, you can participate in PI only if you have been shortlisted for the same based on your score of the SET General exam 2023.
• Candidates will be required to respond to a subjective, essay-type question in a span of 30 minutes. This section will be evaluated only if candidates have been shortlisted for further admission process

SET SLAT Exam Pattern

As per the SLAT 2023 exam pattern, SLAT will consist of 60 multiple choice questions of one mark each from five sections. The total duration of the exam is 60 minutes. Details about SLAT 2023 sections and distribution of questions are given below:

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) has issued the SET exam 2023 admit card on April 25, 2023 for SET Test-01, and for SET Test-02, the admit card has issued on May 3, 2023 on its official website - set-test.org. Candidates who have filled out the SET application form can download the SET admit card 2023 by using their l ogin ID and password . The SET admit card 2023 is available for download till the day of the entrance test. Students who have paid the application fee via offline mode (DD) can download their admit card only after the realization of the application fee payment.

Documents to carry with SET admit card 2023

Candidates must carry any one of the following photo Ids along with the admit card to the SET exam centre. The Id must be a valid and original one.

Important Instructions for Candidates

• Students who are appearing for two exams must carry two separate admit card for each SET test respectively.
• After downloading the admit card, they must paste a photograph not more than 3 months old in the space provided.
• They must get their admit card authenticated by the invigilator on SET exam day and keep the same safe till admissions are completed.
• Candidates must take a colour printout only to the SET 2023.
• Candidates cannot carry cell phones, calculators, watch calculators, alarm clocks, digital watches with built in calculators/ memory or any electronic or smart devices to the exam hall else they will be disqualified.
• In addition, they are advised to follow COVID-19 related safety measures like social distancing, sanitising, wearing a mask and gloves etc.

The result of SET 2023 entrance test has been announced in online mode at the official SET exam 2023 website on May 24. The validity of the result for SET 2023 is one academic year. The merit list and waiting list of SET 2023 will be released after the entrance exam result. The waiting list of SET 2023 will depend upon the number of vacant seats in various programmes. The candidates are required to apply for admissions to the respective institutes for the courses of their preference. They will be shortlisted on the basis of their merit in SET exam 2023. SET SITEEE Selection Process

The result of SITEEE 2023 will be declared at the official website. Candidates who qualify the exam will have to report to the designated venue for document verification on the day of counselling. They will have to carry required documents in original as well as attested photocopies along with two passport size photographs. The counselling will be first held for the candidates who clear SITEEE 2023 and then for ones who registered for admission on the basis of exams such as JEE Main and MHT CET. 

SET General Selection Process

The students who are deemed as qualified after the result of aptitude test and written ability test will be called for personal interview. It is mandatory for all the candidates to appear in all of the rounds - aptitude test, WAT and PI/GD to be eligible for admission to the UG programmes. SET SLAT Selection Process

After the announcement of SLAT 2023 result, the university will share the scorecards with the institutes. Candidates who clear the entrance exam will have to appear in the writing ability test and personal interview round which are conducted by each law school separately.

The WAT round will be 20 marks while the personal interaction (PI) will be of 30 marks. To shortlist the candidates for admissions, the law schools will prepare merit lists based on candidates' performance in the entrance exam, PI and WAT round.
