About TISSNET 2023
TISSNET 2023: Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) will begin the online pre-admission orientation programme for SC/ST/OBC/Minority and PWD candidates from February 18 to 19 and it will be held at Mumbai/Tuljapur/Hyderabad and Guwahati Campuses. TISS has closed the deadline to submit the TISSNET 2023 registration form on February 1, 2023. Candidates could fill TISSNET 2023 application form by visiting the official website before the deadline.
The TISSNET 2023 will be held at 40 test centres across the country. The programmes are offered at five (6) of TISS centres which are – TISS Hyderabad, Mumbai, Chennai (Banyan), Guwahati, MGAHD Nagaland and Tuljapur. TISSNET 2023 exam date for MA admission is February 25, 2023.
About TISSNET
Tata Institute of Social Science conducts Tata Institute of Social Sciences National Entrance Test for admission to MA programmes offered at various TISS campuses. TISSNET is a computer-based examination that is held for a duration of 1 hour 40 minutes. The question paper of TISSSNET will be divided into three parts, General Awareness, English Proficiency and Mathematics and Logical Reasoning. The question paper consists of 100 questions and the medium of the examination is English. There will be no negative marking in TISSNET examination. To qualify the TISSNET exam, candidates must score at least the sectional cut off marks. The examination is held in around 40 exam centres around the country.

The TISSNET eligibility criteria 2023 is the age limit and minimum academic qualification that candidates must meet to be considered eligible for admission to MA programs offered at numerous TISS campuses. The eligibility criteria of the TISSNET 2023 has been laid down by the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS). - Candidates who are in the final year of their UG course can apply for TISSNET 2023 but they will have to submit their final year examination result on the date prescribed by the exam conducting body. Until then, the admission will be provisional; if a candidate fails to do so, the admission will be canceled.
- Candidates with three years of undergraduate degree from a recognized university are eligible to apply

TISS has started the TISSNET application process 2023 on December 14, 2022. Candidates interested to take admission in TISS could submit the TISSNET 2023 application form till February 1, 2023. During the TISSNET application process 2023, candidates have to enter their personal and academic details in the application form. They also need to upload all the required documents and certificates in the prescribed size. Candidates are allowed to apply for three programmes in any of the two campuses of TISS in one application form. However, they must pay the application fee for all the three opted programmes. Candidates are advised to not fill more than one application form or else it might lead to the cancellation of all the forms.

TISS Management Aptitude Test (TISS-MAT)
TISS conducts a test known as TISS Management Aptitude Test for admission to MA (HRM & LR) and/or MA (ODCL) programmes. The TISSMAT 2023 examination take place just after TISSNET 2023 exam. The score of TISS-MAT will be considered for shortlisting in stage 2 along with the programme aptitude test and personal interview. TISS-MAT is given the weightage of 30%. The TISSNET admit card 2023 can be downloaded from February 16 in online mode. Registered candidates will be able to download the TISSNET 2023 admit card by visiting the official website of TISS and enter their login credentials on the admit card login window. Without the TISSNET admit card 2023, candidates will not be allowed to enter their exam centre. They will also need to bring one government photo identity card such as voter id, Aadhaar card, passport, PAN card to the exam centre on the day of examination.

They need to secure at least 45% (for others) and 35% (for SC/ST) in the TISSNET 2023 exam. All the qualifying candidates in TISSNET 2023 will be called for the next round, that is PI.
