Vellore Institute of Technology has commenced the VITREE 2024 application process for the January 2024 session on September 11. The link for VITREE registration 2024 is available on the website, admissions.vit.ac.in. Candidates need to check the VITREE eligibility criteria before applying. Moreover, VIT University has released a detailed notification for VITREE 2024 on the official website. The authority will conduct the VITREE exam for January 2024 session on December 10, 2023. Candidates will be selected for VIT Ph.D. admission 2024 on their VITREE 2024 score and performance in the personal interview round. 

VITREE full form is the Vellore Institute of Technology Research Entrance Exam. Candidates can apply for Ph.D. and Direct Ph.D programmes.

Doctor of Philosophy(Ph.D.): The minimum duration of study and research from the date of registration for the Ph.D. programme to the date of submission of the thesis will be 30 months for full-time research scholars and 36 months for part-time research scholars.
Direct Ph.D. : The minimum duration of study and research from the date of registration for the Direct Ph.D. programme to the date of submission of the thesis will be 4 years.

VITREE application process comprises registration, form filling, uploading of documents, and payment of the application fee. Candidates have to pay Rs. 1200 as the application fee in online mode. • Now click on the tab ‘VITREE 2024 - Apply Now’ available on the screen

• On the new page, candidates need to complete the registration process by filling their basic details such as name of the candidate, date of birth, gender, email-address, phone number and other important information as per the areas available 

• All the details should be correct as if there is any mistake the application form gets rejected.

• Upload the scanned signature, photograph and relevant documents in the prescribed format.

• Pay the application fee of Rs. 1,200 in online mode

• Candidates must take the printout of the application form for future reference.
