West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board conducts WBJEE for admission in B.Tech and other professional undergraduate courses. The state offers 31, 769 seats in 86 engineering colleges (excluding B.Arch and Pharmacy courses) The authorities have released the OMR images and machine read responses on February 20. Candidates who are not satisfied with the responses can raise objections till February 22 (11.59 PM). Earlier, the authorities have released the WBJEE answer key 2020 on February 17 which was open for challenge till February 19. The authorities had conducted WBJEE 2020 in offline mode on February 2 in 60 cities of West Bengal as well in Assam and Tripura. The WBJEE 2020 exam had two papers, Paper-I (Mathematics) and Paper-II (Physics & Chemistry-combined). Candidates had to appear and qualify in both papers for admission in Engineering, Technology courses in West Bengal. Candidates seeking admission in Pharmacy courses had to appear in Biology part instead of Mathematics. The admit card for appearing in WBJEE 2020 was released on January 24, 2020 in online mode. The application form of WBJEE 2020 was available in online mode from October 18 to November 13, 2019.
WBJEE result has not been announced by the board but is likely to be released in one month after exam. Counselling of WBJEE will be held tentatively in June 2020 based on the scores obtained by students and the state ranks awarded on the basis of merit. Students seeking admission in B.Arch courses have to appear in NATA 2020 while medical admissions are through NEET UG 2020.

The application form of WBJEE 2020 was available in online mode from October 18 to November 13. The WBJEEB also opened correction facility of WBJEE application form from November 14 to 16. Candidates were allowed to correct mistakes made in the application form during the application correction period. WBJEE 2020 Application process
Registration: Students had to register by providing their basic details like name, fathers name, date of birth, mobile number and other basic details. Candidates had to be very careful while filling the information during registration because the information entered at this stage i.e. applicant's name, father's name, date of birth etc., could not be modified at later stages.
Entering the details in WBJEE Application Form: Candidates had to enter the details related to eligibility, course, city and communication etc.
Document Uploading: After entering the required details the candidates had to upload the required documents in the prescribed format.
WBJEE 2020 application fee payment: In order to complete the online application process candidates had to pay the application fee in online mode using credit/ debit card/ net banking or offline mode.Application Fee: Rs. 700 (General candidates) Rs. 500 (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B Candidates)
Printing WBJEE Confirmation Page: After payment of application fee, candidates had to review and submit the application form. Once the form was submitted, candidates were advised to take a print out of the confirmation page and keep it safely for future reference. The confirmation page is important for e-counselling too. Hence candidates have to safe keep the same till their admissions are completed.
Fee Concession for PwD Students in WBJEE
PwD candidates were eligible for 40% reduction on WBJEE 2020 application fees. To avail this, all PwD candidate had to formally apply in writing to the Chairman, WBJEEB and send/submit the application to the Board office by January 31, 2020. They also had to enclose a copy of their WBJEE confirmation page and PwD certificate as proof. They were given the refund after the receipt of the application.

In order to crack any exam, the information about exam pattern, weightage of topics, evaluation scheme, plays very important role. WBJEE 2020 was held in offline mode comprising multiple choice questions. There were two papers in WBJEE 2020; Paper 1 (Mathematics) and Paper 2 (Physics and Chemistry combine). Candidates seeking admission in Pharmacy course had to appear for Biology instead of Mathematics in Paper 1. Students had to qualify in both the papers in order to be considered for admission. Candidates got 120 minutes for each paper i.e. Paper 1 and Paper 2. There were three categories of questions in both paper 1 and 2 as described below

Mode of Answering
There will be four alternative answers for each question. The correct response has to be selected by the candidates by darkening the appropriate circle completely with blue/black ball point pen.
Category 1 - Each correct answer will be awarded one mark.
Category 2 - For every correct response, two marks will be given by the candidates.
Category 1 - Incorrect response will yield a loss of ¼ mark
Category 2 - For each incorrect answer, ½ mark will be deducted.
Category 3 - There is no negative marking.
There will be three categories of questions in both paper 1 and 2 as described below
For category 1 questions there was just one correct option, 1 mark was given for a correct answer while an incorrect answer would fetch -0.25 marks.For category 2 questions there was just one correct option and 2 marks was given for a correct answer while an incorrect answer would fetch -0.5 marks.For category 3 questions there were one or more options correct and 2 marks were given for correct answer while incorrect answer would fetch 0 marks while for partially correct answers candidates would get marks as per this formula: 2 x (no. of correct options marked/total no. of correct options).

WBJEE mock test is in the form of question papers which candidates can use to prepare for the entrance exam. If any candidate had lost or misplaced the admit card and do not have a copy saved, they could apply for a duplicate one. WBJEE Board would issue a duplicate within 60 days from the date of WBJEE admit card declaration. Beyond that, candidates could not apply for a duplicate admit card. WBJEEB has released the OMR images and machine read responses of the candidates on February 20. Candidates can now check the responses through WBJEE 2020 portal. The responses are shown as 'A', 'B', 'C' and 'D' in case of Category I and Category II questions while the unattempted questions are shown as "-". In case of multiple answers, response is shown as '*'.

Candidates will be required to pay Rs 500 per challenge. The payment of the fee can be done only in online mode through debit/credit credit or internet banking.
The exam conducting authority will declare WBJEE 2020 result in online mode. The result will be released in the form of a rank card mentioning the score of Paper 1 and 2, total score and rank of candidate. Students have to download their WBJEE 2020 rank card to participate in the counselling and admission process . Issue of Duplicate Rank Card of WBJEE 2020
Rank Cards will be issued to all candidates who appear for the exam. Seat allotment will only be as per the merit of the candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and score more than the WBJEE Cutoff marks.WBJEE Toppers 2019
WBJEE 2020 cutoff will be released along with the seat allotment. It is the maximum rank which aspirants need to have for admission in any institute. The cutoff score for taking admission in Technology/ Engineering/ Architecture and Pharmacy will differ from cutoff rank. WBJEE cutoff score is the minimum score in Paper 1 and 2 which candidates have to secure for taking part in counselling and admission process. The board will declare cutoff score for both the papers. If candidates have appeared for only Paper 2 and scored above the cutoff only then he/ she will be allotted Pharmacy Merit Rank (PMR). Candidates having appeared in exam of Paper 1 and Paper 2 and scoring above the cutoff mark will get General Merit Rank (GMR) and PMR both. Those candidates will not get any rank who will take part in only Paper 1. Depending upon the category of candidate, selected course and Institute cutoff mark will be different.

Mode of Counselling:
For taking admission in institute and course of their choice, all candidates have to participate in the counselling process. Verification of documents is done during the counselling and admission process and registration with the university. No candidate will be given admission without taking part in counselling of WBJEE 2020. Before counselling and allotment, the seat matrix comprising information about the institute and course wise availability of seats will be published on the board's site. Participants can make use of this for selecting an appropriate option for themselves.
These are the steps for taking part in the counselling process of WBJEE 2020:
Registration and payment of counselling fee: Eligible candidates need to register online for taking part in the counselling process by submitting the required information. In order to register for counselling, process candidates are supposed to pay Rs. 500 and applicable charge towards the counselling fee of WBJEE 2020 through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking. Participants Identity code and password will be created.
Online choice filling and locking: As per their choice, the participant can select course and institute and lock them before the last date fixed in this regard. Participants should keep a copy of the locked options with them for future reference.
Allotment of seat and verification: Candidates are allotted a seat in an institute as per the availability in the order of merit. Those candidates who got allocated a seat in the first round should pay required provisional admission fee online and then physically report to the reporting centre for verification of documents with original and copies of required documents; they can exercising seat confirmation or up-gradation option at centre. Candidates who will not report to their centres may get their allotted seats cancelled and they will be dropped out from the upcoming online counselling rounds.
The second round of WBJEE 2020 seat allotment will be conducted for the seats remaining vacant after the first round of reporting. The third round of WBJEE 2020 seat allotment result will be published for the seats remaining vacant after the second round of reporting. Finally, mop up round of e-counselling will be conducted for registered candidates.

sorry to say at this score you can not get any government colleges, let along tier 1 private colleges like techno india, heritage institute of technology , meghnad saha, netaji subhas, iem kolkata etc. now there is many tier 2 and tier 3 colleges in west bengal which has no good placement record , less number of faculty, no extra curricular activities.. so you need to think again, or you may appear in jee main april session exam and try to get better score.
