Questions related to WBJEE
can I get admission in jadavpur university with obc b rank 983 and gmr rank 11825 in 2022 WBJEE? I am West Bengal resident
Dear Applicant
If you consider the admission possibilities JU is one of the best choices, and admission into that campus is indeed strict. So yes with 11825 GMR and 983 merit rank for Obc-b category, you can expect branches like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Printing Engineering, Pharmacy, Food Processing Engineering etc branches. However it is just a prediction, you can get a better perception once you get the after counselling seat matrix.
Good luck!!!
My WBJEE PMR rank is 16868 and OBC B rank is 1519. Can I get admission in B pharm in NSHM, kolkata??
Dear Samya ,
First of all, WBJEE admission is totally based on GMR/PMR only and not on Category ranks . category ranks are just for storing information of candidates .
Well, as per last year WBJEE cut off details after 3rd round of counselling , you have less chances to get B.Pharm in NSHM college campus , Kolkata
Last year cut off in this college was - 11096
But , this cut off can change every year for some unavoidable reasons like:
- Seat Matrix
- Difficulty level of exam
- No of students appeared etc.
You can check more details about WBJEE from here :

my Pharmacy rank is 4784 in WBJEE 2022. Can I get Institute of pharmacy Jalpaiguri?
Dear Student ,
As per last year WBJEE cut off details , you have less chances to get Institute of pharmacy Jalpaiguri as the last year cut off in this college for B.pharma was : 3147 after 3rd round of WBJEE counselling.
But , let me remind you that each year the cut off can change due to the following factors like seat matrix , difficulty level of exam , no of students appeared etc.

Sir myparents are from kolkata and our aadhar cards(my aadhar card also)are also registered in our permanent address of kolkata.Right nowwe( me and both of my parents) are staying OUTSIDE west bengal. So do i need any domicile certificate? or our aadhar cards will be our proofof domicile plz reply...
If you from Kolkata and you will live outside Kolkata and your Aadhar card address is Kolkata then when you go for admission in your college then there will be the domicile certificate will taken by the college faculty and only Aadhar card is not taken as your permanent address so there will be the domicile certificate will mandatory.
I hope you will understand
my rank is 24129 in wbjee .... i want civil engineering government college ..?
Sorry to say you but actually this is quite high ranking and with this rank if you don't belong to any special categories like SC ST or PWD then it will be hard for you to get a very good government college like Jadavpur University. Obviously you can get in top private colleges with management quota but still through the counselling process with this rank you can get some few private colleges if you belongs to general category. The cut off trend changes each and every year. You have not mention that from which category belongs to its quite difficult for us to tell about that accurately.
Possible civil engineering colleges you can get,
- Government engineering College Purulia
- Bengali institute of technology and management
- Birbhum institute of technology and engineering
- Budge budge institute of technology
- Calcutta institute of engineering and management
- Camellia institute of technology and management
- Dr BC Roy institute of technology
- Dream institute of technology
- Dum cal institute of technology
- Seacom skill university etc
